Do we have any other listeners of The IndyCast podcast? It's a weekly show supported by The ForceCast hosted by Ed Dolista with news, interviews, reviews, and trivia about the world of Indiana Jones. I actually listen to it with as much or more enthusiasm as The ForceCast, possibly because it's a smaller family and the shows tend to be shorter. Unlike The ForceCast, it is primarily scripted and is chock full of wonderful Indy info. It's available from the site above or you can subscribe via iTunes.

If you do happen to catch it, are you familiar with Ron the Reviewer? His voice sounds just like Eddie Deezen, best known for his roles in Grease and 1941.

As has been discussed, with the increased activity of the GFA in this momentous Star Wars year, it's time to elect two Councilors to assist with the business of the group along with chapter leaders Chris Wyman (Tampa), Rich Sledziewski (Treasure Coast), and me, Campbell Evans (Orlando).

There are three nominees, but only two spots for the time being. Each has been an important part of the Alliance since we all joined forces. Nominations were open for more than a week and only these members accepted the call.

Below, in the order my wife picked out of a hat (literally), are the choices. As the poll function on these boards, unfortunately, only allows for one pick per member, please choose the one person you'd most like to be a part of the governing. The two people with the highest tally of votes will be on our new Alliance Council. We look to...

At this past weekend's small gathering in Orlando we developed the possibility of having a sort of "Jedi Council" to guide the GFA. This would be made partly of the leaders of the existing clubs, Chris (Tampa), Rich (Treasure Coast), and your humble narrator (Orlando). Additionally, the initial guidance team would include two other members of the Alliance made up of anyone that participates regularly on the boards and regularly attends meetings. This would make the council "tie-proof" and spread some of the responsibilities beyond just the three current group leaders.

We need opinions on this idea and nominations for councilors. You can nominate yourself and you don't necessarily need to be in the three comunities listed above, you just need to be a regular face at most gatherings and a regular participant on these boards. In the next few fortnights, we can hold a vote (if there are more than two candidates) and look at the idea of term...
