Well I was really looking forward to going and now I don't know if I will have time off work. I am posting this here either way because I might get a break at the last minute and be able to go.  I have never had the opportunity to go to an event like this .  I know that most tables could be filled with dolls, trains, plates and things like that.  But just like at an antique shop, there are usually a few hidden vintage action figures mixed in.  Even if I went and didn't find anything, I would still have fun seeing  a variety of pop culture collectibles all in one place.

The Southern R2 builders are going to have a "Build Day" where we get together to work on droids and help each other out.  For those looking to get into the craft it would be a great time to meet the other members and understand the task at hand.  We are planning on starting around 8am and going until folks need to head home.  It's going to be at Keith & Carolyn's house just outside of Davenport.

It'll be potluck, so bring your best R2 inspired food ideas!

The show in a nut shell is a retelling of Episode IV with musical numbers that have been written off of John Williams score, it's not a parody show or something that is being does for laughs or to make money. It's a celebration of Star Wars with musical numbers and it's going to be amazing. 

Auditions are open to the public. Feb 16th and 17th, hit me up for the address.
