Hello my fellow jedi im writing the script for my star wars fan film Im seeking jedi's that are willing to be apart of the project once I finish up the script I can give you more details just looking to see how meny people are intrested in being apart . it will be taking place after return of the jedi. other characters welcome ie bounty hunters, storm troopers ect..

I don't keep up with fan films too much, but I just saw chapter 2 of IMPS and was very impressed. It's as good as some documentaries on The Discovery Channel and features a drop ship delivering AT-ATs and ground support to a Hoth-like world where they engage an enemy. With few exceptions, this is really, really good looking.

Hello My name is Jim Wilkinson, I am a small time student film maker and I am working on a somewhat star wars fan film. I was wondering if any of you would like to talk about being a part of it. Just tell me if you are or are not interested. I'll give you any Info you need. This is a nonprofit film. Even if you aren't Interested in being in it, but would like to give advice and pointers on the Star Wars side of things. I am the director not the master of this stuff. An I would love to hear what you have to say. I want to stay as perfect as possible for you and Star Wars fans alike. Each of you would get credit for your contribution. This will be in pre-production for roughly 6 more months before filming starts. Thank you for your time and I cant wait to hear from you all.

Did anyone other than Mike and I see 5-25-77 at Celebration IV? It was not as good as we'd hoped, but it was the complete film minus a few special effects shots and some sound effects.

I happened upon it today on IMDb and found that it's now titled '77.

From the looks of it, these people are trying to create or have already created a short, non-profit, star wars movie. Here is additional information on it. The Spiel:

I wrote a very cool screenplay, entitled "Into the Land of Magic" (formerly known as "Irwin the Messenger"). It combines the essence of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.

Without giving away the ending, the Synopsis is this:

A group of herb gatherers have sailed by ship to a neutral land near the border of another kingdom. Recent tensions have almost pushed these two formerly friendly kingdoms into war. These herb gatherers stumble across a nearly dead messenger from the neighboring kingdom. They take him back to their ship and a strange silver haired man saves his life during their voyage home, using strange and mystical medical techniques.
The messenger heals quickly and we soon find out that he is Irwin Finselaf, an important messenger, diplomat, and friend of the herb-gatherers' King. He is on a journey to the 'Land of Magic' on a secret mission for his King. We also learn that Irwin has a backpack full of...

TITLE: George Lucas on The Planet of the Apes

Modern day George Lucas gets in his car and drives away from Skywalker ranch. He heads straight towards a tumultous San Francisco thunderstorm. His surroundings darken under a torrent of rain. A flash of lightning sends his car off the road....

A dazed Lucas regains consciousness by his ruined car in bright daylight, the storm has passed. He tries to speak, but cannot due to a throat injury. He then hears the rumbling of running feet. He sees a pack of humanoid apes appear at the top of a hill. They run down and snag him in a big net like the one Chewie triggered on the forest moon of Endor.

Lucas is marched to a holding cell. He eventually befriends his scientist captors, and they adopt him. A voiceless Lucas teaches his adoptors to make plays of his movies. The other apes love Lucas's plays (which are re-enactments of parts of his movies). He starts to become a notoriety, a celebrity of a human pet....

Sci Fi Film at UCF needs costuming help

Hello, we are James and Robert Dastoli, we made five SW fan films in the past, including How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Superlaser and The Vorzyd Gambit. We are in our last year at the film school at UCF and we're making a big scifi film. We need costumes for this of course, and we really don't know the first thing about making costumes. So we decided to come to this forum to see if anyone was interested in helping us out. We need a Mara Jade-ish costume, a Kyle Katarn/Dash Rendar-esque costume, some sort of officer(maybe resembling an imperial officer) costume, and about six soldiers that would have something of a cross between stormtrooper armor and the armor from starship troopers. We are on a shoestring budget, so the costumes would have to be very cheap.

So if anyone is interested in helping out with costumes, you can post here, or email us at dastolidigital@yahoo.com I also posted in the costuming forum.

I was a little disappointed in the selection. My vote will go to one of the two clear standouts: "Pitching Lucas" (creative, first class production) or "Blue Milk" (which had me falling out of my chair laughing--kids say the darndest things!).

Sabers crisscross. (insert short training sequence here.) Guahamae and Sariah whirl away from each other. Both are breathing heavily. KAIDEN sits watching them spar.
