saw Chris Tomlin here in Tampa and really enjoyed it. Great music and a great venue.

Tomorrow night, I'll be heading over to the Saint Pete Times Forum to see Yanni Voices. This is Yanni's new tour which kicked off this evening in Ft.
Lauderdale. It's the great classics that we all know and love, but with some added talent as well. Four singers of various types also contribute to what
promises to be an amazing show. For more details, head on over to www.yanni.com for a preview of the show.

I have a confession to make. I saw one of the singers on TV a few weeks ago and this is one of the main reasons I'm going. I've seen Yanni live before
and it was awesome, but this girl is absolutely stunning. Her name is Chloe Lowery. She's twenty...

As seen on our Community Calendar, THX 1138, George Lucas's first feature film, was released 38 years ago on
March 11. While I don't expect many of us will be celebrating the anniversary, it is a very interesting, trippy movie.

After I finish a Shakespearean movie my language changes for a few hours or days to emulate the patterns of the Bard. After THX 1138 I speak in the monotone
voice of the society that stomps its foot on the protagonist.

What do you all think about the movie? It's not something I can watch very often, but I actually do enjoy it. If you've never seen it I'd suggest
the George-tweaked version released in the last few years. The changes are cosmetic and flesh out the world for me. It's about the same as the changes
recently made to the original Star Trek episodes.

Anyone following the Hobbit movie development? I've only read headlines, but I understand the project is to be produced (not directed?) by Peter Jackson, and is to be made into two films.

This leads me to the question of who should play Bilbo. Despite Gandalf noting that Bilbo had not aged in FotR, I was actually disappointed in seeing Ian Holm portray him in the flashback of finding the One Ring. If I recall correctly, Frodo was actually older in LotR that Bilbo was in The Hobbit, so for the new movies, I seriously hope they go with a younger actor than Ian Holm. I love Holm in this role and in many others, but he's old enough to make Harrison Ford look like an Olympic athlete.

I've only heard one rumor on the subject of casting Bilbo: Martin Freeman of Britain's The Office, Love Actually, and Hitchhiker's Guide fame. I needn't hear anything more. I think he's a perfect choice, and he's already got Hobbit hair.

We were told that this movie is Goldner and Sommers' baby more than anyone else's.

The most interesting piece of information we gleaned, however, is that Paramount isn't rushing G.I.
