Anyone else playing the Facebook game Indiana Jones Adventure World? It's by the Yoville people, Zynga. If Indy wasn't a factor and influence I'd never be sucked into this, but I'm enjoying the addiction for the moment. If you're one of the people that remembers the old Indiana Jones and His Desktop Adventures, it's very similar. The bad news is that it's a time waster and it encourages you to ask your friends to join and constantly help you. The upside is that it's Indy, it includes actual Indiana Jones music (along with original "adventuring" music), and it's pretty creative.

If you already play or are interested in it, lemme know!
Strangely enough, we have a thread for the other three Indiana Jones movies, but not this one! So, here it is.

I watched this one tonight and noticed something I hadn't ever noticed before. When Indy shoots the three Nazi's while on the tank, blowing holes through all of them, the blood that squirts out the back of the last guy actually hits the camera and stays there for the duration of that scene and can be seen each time the camera goes back to that particular angle.

It had been a while since I saw this one, so I was paying particularly close attention to detail. So much so, that I even came up with a new trivia question that I've never seen anyone ask.

In the final shot of the film, in what order are the four men riding horses in from left to right?

It's a weekly show supported by The ForceCast hosted by Ed Dolista with news, interviews, reviews, and trivia about the world of Indiana Jones. I actually listen to it with as much or more enthusiasm as The ForceCast, possibly because it's a smaller family and the shows tend to be shorter. Unlike The ForceCast, it is primarily scripted and is chock full of wonderful Indy info. It's available from the site above or you can subscribe via iTunes.

If you do happen to catch it, are you familiar with Ron the Reviewer?
Anyone read any of the Indiana Jones books? The covers of recent reprints make them look pretty enticing so if there's a break in books I want to read
I'll eventually get to them. I read the movie novelizations back in the 80s and just finished the KotCK novelization.

All in all, it's nothing to write home about. It covers all the bases but adds virtually nothing to the movie. One part that did please me was the
justification of my theory about Spalko's death. In the movie her head explodes causing many people to think her head blew up after receiving too much
information. In the movie you can see there's likely more to it because the "visitor" standing next to her takes a very aggressive posture before
"overloading" the Russian. I suggest this was for her arrogance and that Indy's clan was scooped up by the water to thank them for returning the
skull. The book adds that the upload from the visitor to Spalko was aggressive and...
