Yes, yes. I'm hoping to have a Tampa event soon, but I would love to get back out to the Treasure Coast as well. The only thing would be...I can't advertise a huge event at some one's house on the front pages of Rebelscum and TheForce.net. If we do this at Rich's house again, it will be an in house invitation only, meaning word of mouth, Facebook, email and of course, message board announcements.

We can definitely have a local meeting in the food court. I'd be very up for that in the near future. I'll start a thread in the Orlando section.

Agreed. That's not to say that smaller local meetings aren't going to continue, and hopefully flourish. But for the big ones, where we're getting Rebelscum exposure, we need a Grand staging area.

Sorry I missed such a great turn out, I would have showed up just to have some of Russ' cake!

For the meetings to come, I suggest we keep locations like the Comic Shop or busy public places in order to attract new members. I would imagine other local shops would appreciate the exposure as well.

Yeah, Campbell...we really do need to get in some photos together at one of these things. You're right, it seems like we're so busy working the room that we never end up in any photos with each other.

Well it was another great meeting. First I want to thank Heroes Landing for giving us the space to have this event it was awesome!!!!! Also Chris and Campbell for putting these events together to bring are Star Wars community closer "Thank You". It was fun driving up with Justin and my son we had allot fun. It was also great seeing everyone and I can't wait till the next meeting the turn out is getting bigger each time I think we had around 50 people there this time. My son had a great time too. I will post pictures on Monday on all the sites. It is going to be a great year for SWGFA and I will try my hardest participate and aid in making this happen.

Sorry to have missed such a great meeting! A leak in the top hose to the radiator in my car forced me to head straight home after school. We did not finish until almost 6, and they have been torturing us physically all week.

Really glad to see this group growing! Nice of Todd to open his doors to the group, and offer a great location for a get together.

A date and time have yet to be determined, but the location will be Orlando. I won't divulge any details just yet, but I think everyone will be happy. January is sounding like a nice month to shoot for. It's prior to Mega-Con which will give us all a chance to meet and discuss our plans for that particular convention. Of course, by then we should also know the date and location for Celebration V as well.
