Here is more info on the exhibitors for Celebration V it's looking to be the biggest one so far August can't get hear sooner.

According to Justin of theforce.net. C5 has hiked their prices. Here is the information.

Initially, admission tickets were priced as follows on December 10th:

Adult Four-Day Passes: $120
Thursday Passes: $45
Friday Passes: $45
Saturday Passes: $50
Sunday Passes: $45
Kids Four-Day Passes: $50 and One-Day Passes: $25

As of the date of this posting, ticket prices are now listed as follows:

Adult Four-Day Passes: $128
Thursday Passes: $48
Friday Passes: $48
Saturday Passes: $54
Sunday Passes: $48
Kids Four-Day Passes: $54 and One-Day Passes: $27

So if you are still on the fence about buying tickets to CV, you may want...

Welcome WJ! I'm not sure I understand the question, but I can tell you if you are placing an order and they request your credit card they will be charging it. (In the case of pre-orders merchants only ask for your credit card if they will be charging it when the order is fulfilled.) Assuming you are talking about Celebration V tickets, they accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Paypal. Whichever of these methods you choose, they will charge you at the time you place your order.

I don't think you need to be in any hurry to buy tickets whatsoever. At every other Celebration they have been available till the convention. On the other hand, once you know and once you can afford it, there's nothing better than not having the ticket expense close to the time of Celebration. You've got to save your duckets for the show!

I have not bought tickets yet , I want a little more time to plan if I'm going for 4 days or 1 and if I'm buying 2 child's tickets.

I read the posts too and it seems like a small select group of people not happy that the event isn't happening in their backyard. I especially loved the comment from the person calling Orlando expensive yet wanting the event to be in Chicago. Ummm....yeah....

I do hope that some smart marketing folks from a deodorant company find their way to hand out samples around the building though, since I am sure that there are going to be some ripe people in heavy costumes walking around in the August heat.

I read all 15 posts in the thread and many of the people think the premise is a lot of guff. I don't think we have to anything to worry about. You can't please everybody. The poster notes that Orlando is a very high-priced vacation spot. We know, as several of the people who replied, that that's just not true. It's especially ridiculous when you compare us to downtown LA.

Rich, what's the link to this thread on StarWars.com? I'm curious to see what's being said. However, regardless of the hubbub, CV is hear and that's not negotiable. What a waste of time. Hopefully, we'll win them over by having a really good show. The good news is that Orlando does get a lot of business and usually impresses the masses. We get a lot of repeat business from city-wide conventions.

I was just on the Star Wars web site and went into the forums and they have a subject,Post if your unhappy about CV in Orlando. I'm telling you I can't believe how upset some people are that it is in Orlando. You know when it was in LA I didn't complain at all I was just happy there was a Celebration period. LA wasn't the best location ether I was lucky I had a relative that live 20min out side of the convention center so that saved me a bunch of money of which I spent at the convention. But I didn't complain that the food at the convention center was bad and to expensive and there was a lack of reasonable restaurants to get food at in down town LA we found a restaurant after many trips around the "blocks" and found one and it cost us $150.00 to eat for the three of us crazy. Orlando has it all great rates on hotels tons of places to eat at good prices within minutes of the convention center and I know I brought this up before but I didn't see a...
