Also, even IF you've already booked a room it can't hurt to check once a month or so just to make sure opportunities have not gotten better. It's unlikely, but very possible that discounted rates will show up closer to the convention as hotels tend to add these once they know what kind of advance booking they're getting. I barely have enough space for my own family in my condo (my Star Wars collection bears the brunt of the blame) so I don't have space to host anyone unfortunately but I know some of our friends are going to be looking forward to staying in town for Celebration. Got any tips or suggestions for them? Sounds like Mike (roguescribner) is staying at a Fairfield on Canada Ave. and I just got a note from Ia asking where she should stay.
