			<description><![CDATA[ Its been awhile but i do have some progress on R2. I am building him out of HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene plastic) <br><br><br><img src="http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/2cd36dfd4a5d643a1a4f766afec1d9d317e000de.pjpg"><br>The shoulders are done. Although i have to drill in the holes on the one on the left but initially are done. <br><br><img src="http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/6d51684e621e70fad4e561548414065c82c51e4f.pjpg"><br>Now i am working on one of the legs now.. One of the hardest parts of this is going to be the curve. I have contacted our founder and the guy who set up the blue prints for the styrene build, his name is Dave Everett,&nbsp;is how he did the curve. He had told me is&nbsp;to use a router. This is going to be tough. <br><br>Well that is it for now. More to come in the future. <br><br><br> ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Here are just a few things i have been working on. <br><br><img src="http://astromech.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3108&amp;d=1278553930"><br>This is a slip ring connection kit. I had to put two of these together and it didn't come with the slip ring or cables. I had to learn real fast on how to solder. It was fun putting these together with my chubby fingers. Anyway, these are for dispersing power to areas that need power. <br><br><img src="http://astromech.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3113&amp;d=1278642245"><br>This is the slip ring.. I need one of these. So if you know where i can get one, please let me know. <br><br><img src="http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs301.snc4/40376_414987823612_729793612_4751412_385639_n.jpg"><br>This is the left shoulder hub that i am working on.. 			<description><![CDATA[ Ok, I won't lie. I have been very lazy in the build of R2 but that doesn't mean that i haven't done anything to him. I have ordered some parts that i need for him. The first parts came in are the Utility arms. <br><br><img src="http://www.starfleetmodeler.com/Astromechdroid/Body/images/alum_utility_arms.jpg"><br><br>These are made with resin plastic. They are very light weight. <br><br>I am hoping that this will get me energized again to start building on R2 again. More parts will be here in next few months. <br> ]]></description>

<p>I think we're&nbsp;talking about different tubes. I'm not talking about the gold/bronze ones, I'm meaning the giant black ones that Kenny Baker's legs fit&nbsp;into. In the photo they are at 45-degree angles coming off the barrel into&nbsp;R2's "feet." They are only seen&nbsp;when Artoo is in 2-leg mode and as far as I know only when Kenny Baker is inside the droid. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> ]]></description>

Each one of these was in two parts. I had to cut out each part and glue them together. Then with my limited tools. I have to file each side to an angle.
