If you choose to use my guy for printing the flyers. Just a reminder that it needs to be fitted as much on a 11 x 17 sheet and be in a PDF format. Also make sure that you have crop marks. If you choose him you can send the PDF file to this email address. aaron.barnhill@hmhpub.com. Let me know what kind of paper to get and I will go to Staples or Office Max and get a reem or two and have it printed and cut. My guy also has a paper cutter.

I have talked it over with Campbell and I am looking forward to working the booth at Celebration V to promote us and talk to people, hang out. Anything I can do help plus as I'm not a collector, not looking for autographs or doing any costume contests, etc I may have less conflicts than others with time tables. Melanie

Can he make some shirts for me I am willing to drive up to get them done so I can have them for CV. I need to put an image on the card any ideas. Just trying to put something together I am not a pro at this.

I've been wanting an OS or GFA t-shirt for some time and it doesn't look likely that we're going to put together an official one in time for Celebration V. I couldn't let that stop me, though, so I took a trip to Mother Falcon Clothing. I walked in and saw in interesting image of Han in Carbonite on the wall. That's always a good sign, so I was even happeir when I saw the owner's computer wallpaper: AT-AT's striding toward Echo Base. Turns out he's a huge Star Wars fan and is even having an event during Celebration where he'll be releasing 30 locally-created new Star Wars designs. So I brought him a few images and decided to go with the tried and trusted Orlando System logo (the new version, by The Jawas) and our web address. Odds are good I'll have a couple of extra made up for myself so I can...

That is actually the logo we've talked about using all along for Celebration V just because it's a throw back to the 1980's vintage look. Nice mock up there, Rich!

Hey just an idea how about doing it with a vintage cardback look for The Empire Strikes Back on the front like the new vintage line with are vintage logo and Kevin Grahams image on back with all the information. The front can look like a proof card and there should be enough room on the back for an image and all are info. I just think if it has a the look of the vintage line people would keep the card. That's fantastic. I was thinking we might send the image along to The Jawas to see if they could put something together. Chris, do you have the April newsletter handy for some text?

In place of the "Kevin's 40th Birthday" (Happy Birthday, Kevin!) I was thinking that we could possibly overlay a styled "SWGFA.com." Then on the back, possibly only black text on white paper we could put:

When we're meeting next.

Ok guys. I have asked Kevin Graham about using the illustration from the invite to his B-day party for our information sheet for our table at CV. He said it was ok and he will send me a hi-res to me tonight. I just now need the information on the reverse side and the size you need so i can give that to my guy that works at the print shop so he can give me a quote.

I'm extremely happy to announce that we've been offically approved for our Fan Table at Celebration V! We'll probably start a thread in the Celebration V section (or move this one) but please post if you've got any ideas for the table or would be willing to volunteer to staff it with us.

I intend to roll it around a poster tube so that should straighten it out a bit. Seen head on, though, it looks clear as a bell. I plan to get some outdoors shots of it this evening, and I really look forward to future group shots behind or under this thing.

Yeah, it's weird, the eBay store where I purchased it had some really horrible examples on their listing, but the price and the recommendation of our friend Shawn (Bad Apple Comics manager) convinced me that it was worth a shot. This is really as good as I would have hoped for even if I'd spent double or more on it. (It was about $40 shipped!)

Does anyone here have an interest at haivng a booth at a convention for the Orlando System? Or do we want our members to have to find their own way here?

EDIT: changed the title to cover some of the topics covered here and make it for the SWGFA. Basically, it's now a thread to explore getting the Alliance word out. -Campbell
