I knew it was on as I was listening to the older shows, but I don't like listening live because I can't pause it. I like to do chores or cook or other random things around the house (or outside). Listening to recorded shows is so convenient that's the only way for me. The ONLY reason I listen to the show live each week is because it's raw and uncut. If you download the show later on, it's an edited version and doesn't always include everything that was said.

Fun fact: The FCTV episodes are always based off of the original live show, not the edited one.

Just listened to the Forcecast Holiday Special. Great stuff. Chris, heard your question, and how cool was it that they mentioned Love, Actually as a favorite holiday movie? That one's been a December tradition for me for years now. Such a great show last week! Yeah, I wasn't going to call in at first, but I was just curious to see what all of their favorite Christmas movies were. Agreed, Love Actually is an amazing film which I'm planning on watching with Courtney while she's down for Christmas/New Years. Believe it or not..yes!! It was two Weekends ago. Time sure does fly wen you're having fun. I was thinking after I read your post. What if a few of us with extensive SWW experience pooled our knowledge on the event and created an e-book guide to surviving Star Wras Weekends, both for the first timer, and the veteran attendee? Might be something worth doing, and promoting within the SW community. Just an idea.

Remember how good TF.n used to be before their user-unfriendly format that began a few years ago? I actually used to check in almost everyday. Since that became far harder when they went from daily Star Wars stories to just a huge page full of tiny links I go to their site maybe once every few months. Well, the Force-Casts have brought me back. To download these at least.

Basically you get about an 80-minute program with weekly features and lots and lots of news. In addition to that there are supplemental shows with full interviews, music, and lengthy topics.
