I think Anakins total devotion to her is obvious from the first scene when he is so nervous on the elevator up to her apartment and everytime he looked at her it was like she was the only woman he would ever see like that. Also if you read the novilisation they have more detail on things on how they fell inlove. You can defenitly tell.

I'm just glad to hear someone who buys that they are in love. It's so common for people to complain that there aren't enough scenes to get them to the point of marrying by the end of AotC. From Padme's look after their grassy picnic to Anakin's stammering awkwardness by firelight I always saw enough for two people in dire times to commit to one another.

Just watched Attack of the Clones on Blu-ray last night with Courtney. This movie really is fantastic.
Noticed the addition of some sound clips which was neat. Anakin's nightmare now features Shmi's voice as well as a scene that now features a little flashback with Qui-Gon's voice.

For those that enjoy hating Star Wars, the "funny" 70-minute reviewer of Phantom Menace is back to tear down Episode II.

I've only seen part I so far, and it is a bit more fair and logical- but totally negative. That's OK, at least it makes more sense than the first one. Like the ep1 review they like to angle all the facts in one direction. It leaves out tons of info to prove their point.

Also, like the first one, these are not reviews for kids or safe for work. Some of the implications of the "humor" are so filthy and disturbing that I truly wish they'd been left out- even of a heavy-handed bile spill like this.

I did read Cloak of Deception and enjoyed it. With Terence Stamp playing Valorum in the movie it really made me want to read more about his character. As I recall, the book also provides a good introduction to some of the factions we later see in Episode II.

As for The Phantom Menace novel, I liked the "deleted" scenes concentrated in the beginning on Tatooine and I liked how it was explained that Anakin blew up the Trade Federation Control Ship, but otherwise I recall the writing being amateurish. This was a huge shock to me considering Terry Brooks is such a giant in Fantasy literature. I wonder if this is why we never saw him return to the Star Wars milieu.
