Was just watching an episode of Frasier that's relevant here. An odious co-worker asks if Frasier can do the favor of attending a Star Trek convention for him and getting Scott Bakula to sign a photo. Frasier asks, "Noel, don't you have a friend that could get this for you?"

He answers, "THERE ARE NO FRIENDS IN STAR TREK AUTOGRAPHY."

That's good that there is a knowledge base like that out there. As much as I love the through the mail concept having the signature not be authentic is always a concern for me.

I sent a collector card from Ep 1 to SLJ, i believe a couple of years ago. Address provided by Wattographs. Still haven't received it.

Nice! I'd love to have a SLJ autograph, though I always found this angle of Jackson to be one of the strangest views in RotS.

Yeah, hope to get that one knocked out sooner rather than later. The thing about this set is that they were all signed with the same blue Vis-A-Vis pen which is no longer made, so I really want to get her on there using the same pen so they all match.

It's up to you, but if you end up having her sign it in a different ink then it'll be a reminder of how it all went down (her cancellation/your hunt).

Don't know if you care what sort of autograph that you get, but I like Topps autograph cards and he's usually pretty cheap. I got his a few years ago for something well under $10 shipped. I wish he'd come out to Star Wars Weekends, I've really enjoyed hearing him speak at at least one Star Wars Celebration. {see how I fit AT-AT into a sentence?}

Wattographs is having their August private signing. Garrick Hagon (Biggs Darklighter) is the signer of the month. You can send in an item or have one of Wattograph's own pics signed. I wish i could afford to get something signed.

Who around here collects autographs? I have a decent collection but somehow I don't consider myself an autograph collector really. If I was skipping C4 or I didn't already have Carrie Fisher autographs I'd probably buy this from StarWarsShop.
