Unfortunately, yes. I believe they have an expiration date on each card. If you sign up for their email newsletter they send out reminders about when some cards expire, especially those given out at conventions.

I know.. I forgot to use one when i made the purchase. Do the gift cards expire?

They also are fairly liberal with gift cards. They are often given away at conventions and have been part of at least two Star Wars Fan Club membership kits.

If I were your brother in law I'd be perfectly happy to get an envelope showing me what I'm getting. If they don't arrive by Christmas just let him know that you placed the order a month before the holiday and he should be completely appreciative.

Ahh, that makes a difference. Those items are back ordered and not in stock, so there's no telling how long it'll take once they actually get them in stock to get to you.

2-4 weeks? What are you ordering? If the item is in stock, it should ship within two business days of your card being charged.

Hello all. I need some info. I order a few things from Sideshow and was wonder how long before i get them. They are for someone for Christmas and his birthday, which is around Christmas time. I should get them before then right? I know it says 2-4 weeks after order has been placed. For those that have ordered from SS. Have you had to wait that long?

I'm surprised by that, too. I think with DVD sales slumping a lot of titles go out of print fairly quickly these days. Fortunately, with Tron: Legacy inevitably coming to home video within the next 6 months I feel certain affordable versions of the original will be on shelves soon. Odds are there will be a 3-4 disc set of Legacy that includes Tron.

I was talking to a co-worker yesterday. He asked me if I had TRON on DVD. I said yes, DVD and VHS. He was saying that it is hard to find in stores. So I looked it up on Amazon.com for the DVD. I think you will be surprised at how much they are asking for. Then i went to Best Buy site and they didn't even have it in stock. Just the TRON games.

We watched the original Tron yesterday, and it holds up better than you might think. I mean, there were still some eye-rolling moments between Brian and me, but it was still quite enjoyable. The kids LOVED it. I would suggest at least attempting to suffer through it before the new one comes out

I may be wrong, but I think you had to be there. I'm not sure the original TRON holds up to an audience these days. You might like it as a bold experiment with some very creative visuals but my interest in it stems from seeing it as a kid and playing the arcade game and wishing my bicycle formed a wall behind it as it sped around the grid.
