Chris, I presume you got the monster Studio Scale X-Wing back home safe and sound? That was quite a thing to see. That's a piece I don't anticipate owning, so it was very interesting to study the thing. Most impressive.

The rides from Orlando and back again were some interesting trips. The rest of the group wouldn't believe the political/religious roundtable we held on the way home but it just goes to show you the wide appeal of Star Wars. Fortunately, the Force binds all of us, as well as the galaxy, together.

The conversations throughout the day made me wish we could do this more often. I know the difficulty of meshing everyone's schedules, so I believe the answer is not to have them more frequently, but to get more commitment from those that would like to attend. I thoroughly enjoyed the trivia this time around. I have to send out a special thanks to the San Diego Star Wars Society for donating some incredible pieces from the Sarlacc Pit and Sail Barge. The discussions that took place in the midst of the trivia were just incredible. I love seeing fans learn more about these movies that they didn't previously know. That's what this is all about...further learning and what better way to learn than with your fellow Star Wars fans? It is such a treat to be able to host these.

We reached Rich's a little before 1pm and entered one of the best organized collections I've had the pleasure of visiting. Food and new friends rang in the Port Saint Lucie Star Wars Club's induction into the Grand Florida Alliance. I'd like to describe more but the late hours precludes a long entry. I do have time for thanks, though. To everyone that attended thanks so much. It was a wonderful day of Star Wars shared between a diverse crowd of fans of the Saga. We have finally decided on a date and time for our May Event. We will be joining SWGFA member Rich at his home in Port Saint Lucie on May 17th at 1:00pm.
