This should probably be in the for sale area but its a costume and I have it for sale. Its a Biker armor for sale. Some of the items are not finished. Some i don't know what the technical turms are. You can have everything for a low $300.00. Local pick up only. Not looking for trade. Need to make my life size R2

Helmet and it has some padding in it.

LOL. Wow. I know they sell canned bread in the States but not here. Trust me these people are much different that us Americans. Puerto Ricans are not into Star Wars or sci-fi much at all. So as you can imagine I feel a bit lonely down here. Thats why I am saying its almost impossible for me to find SW stuff down here because I never found canned bread in my life. lol. Thanks for the offer but I don't think I would eat canned bread anyways. Thanks again. lol.

Well at least you tried Campbell. But that was nice of the guy to tell you and refund your money. When you buy the SDCC Fett can you post a pic of it? I want to see it. Buying stuff on Star Wars here in Puerto Rico is like trying to find canned bread. Believe me.

I just got my money back with this message:

Sorry to let you know. I am refunding your money. While i was packing it up I heard a crack and come to find out the helmet face sheild cracked down the side. I can't in good mind send this to you. Sorry.

So it appears that the seller is extremely honest and a nice guy as he could have sent this and claimed it happened in the mail. It seems the adventure is over, I'm not getting a Scout Trooper costume. Wow, huge surprise.

In a related story, I'm extremely glad to have not spent the money. This'll make mini-busts of Renz and SDCC Fett so much easier to buy.

Exactly where did you get the parts Campbell? It was not easy finding my Jedi costume. Some of it I found on ebay but the rest I had to make.

Aaron, that'd be great. I'm looking to compare armor and get critiques from everybody. My costume will be sent out Monday so I'm sure I'll have it at the meeting.

And Sharon, I look forward to seeing how that pans out. I really like the Viper outfits from both eras. I've been trying to get some facsimile of the grey/black tank tops from the new BSG for Pin.

I feel better about the deal as well. The seller has given me more details so I'm getting excited. I also just received another item from him so I have more confidence. As a matter of fact, I'm seconds away from Paypal-ing him now.

I have avoided the costuming, for the most part. It's pretty expensive. But ALWAYS loved the vintage Viper Pilot jackets. Totally HOT! Would do either vintage or modern Viper Pilot.

According to the seller, here's the info about the Scout Trooper I just bought:

2 black jumpsuits, size XL (one plain black jumpsuit, and one with leg straps and reenforcement material in the crotch to make it screen accurate)
2 sets of gloves (one set of trooping gloves and one pair of very hard to find screen accurate gloves)
1 set of boots, size 11 (basically boots with leather attached around to make completely screen accurate)
1 complete set of armor with MC topper on tank and light up red light on tank.
1 cumberbund and vest with snaps to attach shoulder armor pieces.
1 MLC

If I could fit into it, I'd seriously try to scrape together the dough. This very well put-together Biker Scout armor set is currently selling for $800 shipped.
