Anybody that is considering buying a non-floor ticket might benefit from this tool. You can click on the section you are considering and actually see an image of what you would see from there. Now, it's only set up for a basketball court, but based on the map above you can combine the two and seriously visualize how good the seats are.

Anyone else, if you're considering buying tickets I'd recommend doing it soon. The $34 nosebleed seats are up to row P as of this writing and we're still in the "pre-sale" period. I had actually considered buying a pair of the least expensive seats to take my wife to the 2nd show, but they're far enough away now, that I'm going to pass.

Thanks for the thoughts on the arena set-up. I got one piece of advice from a ticket broker I know- the floor seats are tight. Does not bode well for me and my next door neighbors.

Wish I had a DVR. Hope somebody caught that concert. It's funny that that was on PBS tonight, as last night I was flipping through and lucked upon a PBS concert of the 5 Browns (Julliard-trained pianists) performing the Star Wars Main Theme on 5 grand pianos.

PBS is showing SW in Concert tonight at 8pm. Heads up to set your DVRs.

Campbell - I can't speak for the layout for the SW show, but generally for concerts, the first section is about 10 rows deep. I would imagine your seats should be about 10-14 rows back from the stage.

That was the same price when I went to the Tampa concert. 74 was for floor seats.. It's worth it.

Orlando Venues is legit. At some point, TM sells/gives your email info to OV and they send along pre-sale offers. From time to time, they send along freebie invites and special offers as well. It looks like ticket prices are $34 - $74 (ouch, really?) before the service charges get slapped on.

The pictures didn't show up, but I'm glad you posted this. I totally forgot there were two shows in Orlando. I think Rich may have mentioned that a while back. I don't know which show to go to now.

So, I checked out the Orlando Venues website and it appears that it takes you to Ticketmaster, so it seems legit. Anybody have any other information? A $5 group discount applies to groups of 10 or more and it doesn't appear that we're going to get that together anytime soon. So I'll look at these websites at 11am tomorrow.

I am a loner on this one. Cassy went with me to the Tampa concert. She liked it but once is enough for her. So I say if we go as a group lets get floor seats. Let go all out for Star Wars.

Thanks for the reminder! Tickets go on sale on Saturday. Anyone have an Amex to see if they are offering a pre-sale for cardholders? I know they did for most of the shows last time.

I want to go as a group, but I think I also want to buy my tickets as soon as they go on sale. I want a darn good seat. Haven't decided if I'm going to try and take the wife. On the positive side it might be alluring for her as the music is one of the most universally loved parts of the Saga. On the other hand, I don't want to spend $70 to $100 to Force her to sit through another Star Wars event that she doesn't appreciate.

I'm 100% in, no matter what. I will quit my job if necessary to see this thing. This is the best news I've gotten since finding out Celebration was coming to Orlando. If there's a bright center to the Star Wars universe, it looks like this is it!

Who among us will first see a performance of the live performance of the touring Star Wars In Concert? To me this is one of the most interesting Star Wars ventures in years. I'd probably go as far as to Atlanta for this so I eagerly await some performances hitting the East. I could even wait till Celebration V if the concert takes place in Orlando at the same time. Talk about a vergence in The Force...

Tickets range in price from the $30s to the $70s. I usually stick with the midlevel tickets, but this one I'd probably aim for the top.
