Almost awesome possibly! I need more info. I haven't heard the details of his speech, but I understand that we really don't know anything. I suppose
maybe they're saving the announcement for Fan Days? In any case, I suppose I hope it's not in May. I really like it being in May since that's the
anniversary of all the movies, but I want a long time to prep for a Celebration. Hmm. I wonder if Lucasfilm is just being prudent and not committing to
anything because of the economy.

I agree. Depending on location, date, and costs I will do my best to go. Now that I'm 18 I don't need permission from parents, not like I'll be
living with them anyways. But from what I heard they are not even calling it "Celebration V." Supposably they are calling it ""the 2010
Star Wars Celebration." So if its true then sweet. Also, on http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=19544.0, they said that the 2010
celebration is confirmed. How, I do not know. Appearently someone on this forum (above) suggested that it be done in Chicago. I would perfer Orlando. Give
Floridians the chance to have the celebration. I'm sure our nice shinny weather will draw more people than last time.

Wide speculation that some type of announcement could be made at Wizard World Chicago in August, but nothing concrete. Steve will be in attendance and that
could be the location if they announce it there.

It has been confirmed!!! SWCV will take place in 2010. Location is not confirmed. Will this faction try to organize those that
plan to go and have them meet or something? Or at all talk about any possibilities concerning meeting at the event?
Also I have found out a way we can help to make Orlando the location for CV. I have come across a site that has been created to help bring the next celebration to Orlando. According to Steve Sansweet Baltimore, Minneapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Orlando, Florida are competing to host this event. This site I found provides many reason why it should be in Orlando. This website also provides a list of Orange County Commissioners and the Orange County mayor. Please call one of them that is nearest to you or email them and request for them to help bring the celebration here. I have all ready called and sent two emails. Please do the same. Hey Guys, I was watching the Star Wars special on G4 and I liked when Steve Sansweet announced that CV will be next summer 2010 and the first possible location
he said would be Orlando. I think we have a good chance and if it happens that would be awsome!!!! Maybe the Alliance can have a booth at CV if it comes to
Orlando, we will see.

I think if it does turn out to be in Orlando a booth could be a good idea for the bunch of us but at the very least get some shirts made up with the logo. This
way if we show up in mass we will at least be somewhat organized.

Hey Guys, I was reading an article on Star Wars.com on Steve Sansweet on Star Wars Fandom and at the end of the article they asked him what his favorite city
was in the US and he said Orlando. I have a good feeling about this!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I was listening to the Forcecast with Steve Sansweet and they were talking about CV and when it might happen. Orlando was talked about again. They
want to have it around the end of summer and Steve said that they don't want to do it around Disney SWW because it is very important to them. So maybe
I'm crazy but I keep finding these little things about CV and I always hear Orlando. So if anybody has any ideas in how we can get the word out to Steve
Sansweet that we want it in Orlando maybe we can put something together to send to Lucas Films to push it are way.

Chris and Roman, you guys are going to Fan Days- this'd be a great place to do some lobbying. Mike Guilfoyle, who has a blog devoted to bringing C5 to
Orlando has gotten a response from Steve Sansweet that indicated that he's aware that there's a great deal of interest in this area. Sansweet also
wrote Mike that letter writing and petitioning would not affect the decision. However, the more activity online that mentions Florida's Star Wars passion
(say, a message board) can only help.

I am going to Fan Days in October. Not sure about Roman. Last time I talked to him about it, it was a probably not.
I last talked to Steve about Celebration V in Orlando and yeah, he was well aware of the fact that there's a large number of fans that want it here. I have a feeling that we will probably have an announcement before Fan Days III though. Administrator - RebelScum.com

I agree. Things seem to be pointing towards Orlando as the next destination. I hope it is. From what I heard a lot of people in Florida, espically in Central
Florida, are sending emails and messages to the Mayor of Orlando hoping he will help get CV here.
