I have been a fan of Star Wars since it came out in the theater in 1977,infact I went to see it 25 times that year.I have only recently started collecting in
the last 4 years mostly Artist Proof and Promo Gentle Giant Mini Busts ,Statues and Animated Maquettes. I also have a couple of Sideshow Items and an Attakus
Statue.I post on Rebel Scum and Gentle Giant Collectors,mostly the later.I work at the Kennedy Space Center as a Shuttle Technician. Oh I forgot to mention
I'm a long time Nascar fan as well.

You're in the right place, Plagueis. I'm also a first generation fan, though I was 5 when the first movie hit. Jedi came out when I was 11 so Star Wars
pretty much took up the bulk of my impressionable years. I've still got a lot of my original Star Wars toys and have been rather seriously collecting since
the early 90s.
And best of luck on Sunday for the STS launch! Fingers crossed over here. Big fan of the manned space program! |

Hello everybody, I wanted to re-introduce myself as it's been a while since I was last on the boards. My name is Mick Celli, and I reside in Boca Raton
Florida, just a bit south of West Palm Beach. I am 32 years old and live with my wife of almost 4 years and our awesome 14 month old little boy. I have been
an avid Star Wars fan for as long as I can remember back into my early childhood, and a collector since I was a boy as well. I still have vivid images of
seeing The Empire Strikes Back for the first time in theaters when I was 3 1/2 years old in 1980. One thing I remember most is screaming at the top of my
lungs when the Wampa appeared on screen and scared the snot right out of me!!
I like to dabble in many different SW lines when I collect, but I hold a soft spot in my heart for the Vintage line. I do like to also collect the Gentle Giant Animated Maquettes, along with the 1:6 scale Sideshow figures. I'm always looking for anything Boba Fett related, as he is my favorite character in the movies followed by Luke, and Vader figures. I currently work in the insurance industry, and am working on a side project for sometime now regarding a new website devoted to action figure collecting. It's proven to be quite a time comsuming endeavor, but that's for another time and place. I've had the pleasure of speaking with Campbell and Sharon in the past, and I hope to continue meeting more good folks like them while on these boards. Hopefully I can meet everyone face to face in the near future, and become a positive contributor to the SWGFA as I get to know everyone better. Thanks for having this wonderful resource for communicating with other Star Wars enthusiasts, and I look forward to talking with all of you in the near future. May the Force be with you....Always!!!
