Saturday, November 21st End-of-the-year event! |

|
While details are still being worked out, I just wanted to let everyone know that our next event will be towards the beginning of November. The original plan
was to hold something in Tampa around the beginning of October, but there are too many people with too much going on during that month. So, in the next week
two, look for an official date to be announced so you can mark it on your calendar. This event will be held in the Tampa area, but the location is still being
discussed.

I'll still be in Thailand at that time, but there's nothing wrong with that. It may be a little difficult for me to get time off after a month
vacation... Glad to see November's on the books. It's good to get it rolling as the holidays always present us with a difficult time to participate,
competing with family time and general busy-ness. I still might try to put together a very small "Holiday Special" viewing on the 17th, though.

What are the dates you'll be gone, Campbell? Wouldn't be an SWGFA meeting with you present.

I've received quite a few emails regarding a date preference. Up until this morning, it sounded like the majority of you didn't mind which weekend, but
as of this morning, it sounds like the 21st is the most preferred date among everyone that has responded. So, with that said, our
next event will be at the home of Will & Alex Eveland in Saint Petersburg on Saturday, November 21st at 5:00pm. I'll be sending out directions soon.
For those attending from the east coast and middle of the state, car pooling is a great idea to save on fuel costs. I've already heard from three people interested in car pooling from the Orlando area, so if this is something you are interested in doing, hit the "Reply All" button on the email I sent out and let your voice be heard! If need be, I can also drive members from the Tampa area that afternoon as well. This is very important: If you are planning on attending, please let me know. I need to get a head count so we know how many to expect. We'll be doing this pot luck style again just like the last event. That seemed to work very well. If you are coming, please let me know what you'll be bringing so I can let others know what we might still need when they ask. You can also discuss what you'll be bringing here in this thread. Suggested Needs: Paper plates Plastic silverware Plastic cups Ice Drinks (Water, soda, juice, etc.) Snacks (Chips, pretzels, dip, cookies, etc.) Food (pizza, soup, pasta, hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, chicken tenders, wings, etc.) Desert (Ice cream, cake, pie, popsicles, etc.) Again, I'd love to see as many as possible attend, so if you have an issue getting there, please let me know and we'll figure something out. Let's sign off on 2009 with a bang! Administrator - RebelScum.com, Wedge Collection Engine & The Registry

Well, what a fantastic event! So sorry you guys missed all the fun. I'm going to try and list everyone that was in attendance, but my upfront apologies if
I leave anyone out. Everyone was not present for these photos as some came later on in the evening, but our total headcount for last night was 22 people! A
huge thanks to everyone that was able to attend.
Aaron Tim Roman Craig Amanda Katlin Jake Brian Tony David Chris Will Alex Bret Daniel & wife Stephen Matt Jeff I know I'm leaving a few out, but I can't for the life of me remember the names, sorry! We had one of our most entertaining Trivia Challenges yet as Stephen and Jeff battled it out for at least twenty minutes back and fourth with Stephen finally coming away the victor and taking home the grand prize, a Celebration IV Exclusive Kotobukiya Yoda. Star Wars Artist, Tim Proctor was also able to attend and show off his portfolio. If you haven't seen Tim's art, please check out his website at www.timproctorart.com. He's currently taking commissions, so get on that list! We are currently in the process of planning our next event and first of 2010, so stay tuned for updates as they become available.
