Hey guys you need to listen to the Forcecast at www.forcecast.net and check out the weekly Forcecast for December 16th
featuring Steve Sansweet talking about Celebration V. Don't worry about tickets Steve said because of how large the convention center is he doesn't
see it selling out like SDCC. So if you have to wait to buy your tickets you should be fine.

I didn't know that. Reed Exhibitions is enormous. They are putting on several major shows at the Orange County Convention Center before CV.

Hey, gang. What's the haps? I went ahead and made hotel reservations in Orlando for the weekend that just so happens to coincide with a little group gathering called Celebration V. I can't guarantee my presence just yet, but I'm hopeful. Things are still a little in flux right now, as far as jobs and residency is concerned. I hope every has been well. Cross your fingers, we may meet again . . . someday . . .

Hopefully, you'll be able to come down to attend. Maybe we can get a "celebration" canoe trip scheduled for earlier in that week.

I was just on the Star Wars web site and went into the forums and they have a subject,Post if your unhappy about CV in Orlando. I'm telling you I can't
believe how upset some people are that it is in Orlando. You know when it was in LA I didn't complain at all I was just happy there was a Celebration
period. LA wasn't the best location ether I was lucky I had a relative that live 20min out side of the convention center so that saved me a bunch of money
of which I spent at the convention. But I didn't complain that the food at the convention center was bad and to expensive and there was a lack of
reasonable restaurants to get food at in down town LA we found a restaurant after many trips around the "blocks" and found one and it cost us $150.00
to eat for the three of us crazy. Orlando has it all great rates on hotels tons of places to eat at good prices within minutes of the convention center and I
know I brought this up before but I didn't see a post like that at the time. No matter were it is someone is going to have to travel and there are only so
many locations that can handle this kind of event. So I think Lucasfilm made a great choice and I hope we have many more events in Orlando. The next one will
probably be in a far location for us too and we will travel to it and not complain. So those people that are upset I am truly sorry but if you do attend this
event you will miss one great event. So just come to the event and enjoy the good times with your fellow Star Wars fans.

Rich, what's the link to this thread on StarWars.com? I'm curious to see what's being said. However, regardless of the hubbub, CV is hear and
that's not negotiable. What a waste of time. Hopefully, we'll win them over by having a really good show. The good news is that Orlando does get a lot
of business and usually impresses the masses. We get a lot of repeat business from city-wide conventions.

I read all 15 posts in the thread and many of the people think the premise is a lot of guff. I don't think we have to anything to worry about. You
can't please everybody. The poster notes that Orlando is a very high-priced vacation spot. We know, as several of the people who replied, that that's
just not true. It's especially ridiculous when you compare us to downtown LA.

I read the posts too and it seems like a small select group of people not happy that the event isn't happening in their backyard. I especially loved the
comment from the person calling Orlando expensive yet wanting the event to be in Chicago. Ummm....yeah....
I do hope that some smart marketing folks from a deodorant company find their way to hand out samples around the building though, since I am sure that there are going to be some ripe people in heavy costumes walking around in the August heat.
