StarWars.com and Reed are starting to show off some of the t-shirts that will be available at Celebration. My favorite among the bunch mixes ANH and ESB motifs...

I've got some shots in my camera of the Disney pins and toys exclusive to Celebration V. The hottest is likely to be the Star Wars lanyard with 8 pins limited to just 1000 pieces. A display case of these is currently being shown at Boba's Bounty, the exclusives store at Star Wars Weekends.

Hadn't noticed this feature on the Celebration site before. Currently the only exclusives listed are from Cartamundi (playing cards), Mimobot (Lobot), and AFX (a Han Trooper maquette).

Here is an exclusive to CV collecting panel. Info provided from www.starwars.com.
Collect Them All! Amazing Collectibles Free at CV Collecting Panels Gus Lopez and his team have done it again, creating amazing, new give-aways for those attending the Celebration V Collecting Panels this August 12-15. "We are thrilled to announce the exclusive giveaways," says Lopez. "In addition to listening to fascinating talks and panels by some of the leading experts on Star Wars collecting, attendees will receive collectible cereal boxes based on Star Wars character "cereal brands" highlighting each of the sixteen panel topics." Chris Georgoulias led the effort working with collectors, sponsors, and artists, who contributed to the concepts, funding, and artwork of this completely fan-sponsored giveaway. There are sixteen cereal boxes to collect, one for each panel, and they are exclusive to Celebration V! The boxes will be handed out at a random times during each panel and will be absolutely free. Don't miss this opportunity for unique, completely original collectibles. Star Wars Collecting Panels Days, times, and location subject to change. Please consult schedule closer to show. For more information on Celebration V, go to www.starwarscelebration.com. |

sledmaster wrote:The recession hits the Collecting Panels! Hmm, this is not very interesting to me, though I will regularly attend the collecting panels. Considering that CV randomly gave out free heavy pewter coins, fan-designed cereal boxes seem pretty half-hearted. This is the third concept for giveaways at these panels that I'm aware of. Before the pewter coins (at CIV, CE, and CJ) there were pretty nice trading cards. -Campbell Help the SWGFA by buying through Amazon. |

I wouldn't shoot the cereal boxes down before seeing them in person. I'm told these mock-up photos are quite horrible and don't give you a real sense of just how cool the 4" boxes with actual cereal inside will be.

The cereal box that you get is a mini box with cereal in it. They are about 4" tall and there is more than two.

Yeah, it says there are sixteen designs, so that's cool. I didn't mean to be that negative, but I have low expectations. Let's just say I won't go to great lengths to acquire them. I'm happy for Gus Lopez, though, as he's probably the world's foremost collector of Star Wars cereal variations.

LEGO Star Wars Comic-Con Exclusive: CubeDudes
(Different Ones Coming to CV) Star Wars LEGO fans take heed -- if you're going to be at the San Diego Comic-Con International this week -- or know someone who is -- you're going to want to get a line on a convention exclusive LEGO has got lined up for the show: Star Wars CubeDudes. "Angus MacLane, a huge LEGO fan, is the creative genius behind CubeDudes," says LEGO Brand Relations Manager Julie Stern. "He created the look and the design for these." The set of five Clone Wars figures, including R2-D2, C-3PO, Yoda, Clone Captain Rex, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, will be offered as a box set to 450 fans per day at the convention. Purchases will be determined by a raffle at the booth. And fans of the unique CubeDudes look will have more to look forward to at Celebration V, which celebrates 30 years of The Empire Strikes Back. "There will be a second set of CubeDudes available at Star Wars Celebration V," hints Stern. "We'll be offering a sneak peek of those in the coming weeks!" Stay tuned to StarWars.com for updates on LEGO's Celebration V exclusive as well as a discussion with CubeDudes designer Angus MacLane! |

The Survival Guide is great, but there are almost too many exclusives that I "must have." I'm going to have to make a lot of decisions in a couple of weeks.
Anybody that's already started strategizing? What's your favorite exclusive (other than our patch wedge)? It's a tough choice for me, but I think I might pick the Ralph McQuarrie belt buckle from the CV Store. -Campbell Help the SWGFA by buying through Amazon. |

Excellent list my friend.
Just a heads up, the McQuarrie Metallix set of 12 are $60.00 each which comes to a grand total of $720.00. This is why I put (Possible) by Jerry and Brian's prints. Not sure If I'll want to spend over $1000 on "stuff" at the show. Yeah, my autograph list is quite insane and I didn't even think to add it here to this list. Original Trilogy: Paul Blake Caroline Blakiston Jeremy Bulloch Ben Burtt John Coppinger Dermot Crowley Anthony Daniels Warwick Davis (Not signing) Mike Edmonds Carrie Fisher Julian Glover Alan Harris Frank Henson Gary Kurtz Ian Liston Peter Mayhew Jack McKenzie John Morton Chris Parsons George Roubicek Robert Watts Prequel Trilogy: Jake Lloyd Matthew Wood The Clone Wars: Dee Bradley Baker Tom Kane Jamie King Matt Lanter Catherine Taber James Arnold Taylor

Chris Wyman wrote:Yow. Thanks for the correction. I'm out of the running for this one, then. I misunderstood the listing in the Rebelscum Exclusives: Set of 12 ESB-themed, 10"x20" Metallix Prints. Limited to 80. $60.Maybe it should be reworded, "12 different ESB-themed, 10"x20" Metallix Prints. Limited to 80. $60 each." Despite having a Ralph McQuarrie-signed poster from Celebration II, I'm likely to get one of those $35 autographed 8x10s of him. -Campbell Help the SWGFA by buying through Amazon. |

eFX has announced their exclusive. Here it is at Rebelscum. Looks great, and I'd love to have it, but telling me about a $579 exclusive a few days before the con is too rich for my bedget.
