Greetings program.

I am now convinced that the Identity disc toy is worth picking up . I just have to find one. All the stores around me sold most of the Tron stuff. This is unusual for a toy line to not still be hanging around months after the DVD release..
If anyone knows of a store that has 4" figures like Quorra and Clu and the 4 wheeled Light Runner, please let us know. There was a Target south of me that had a bunch of mini battle scene sets for under $1.00 each. There were only 2 types left. I will look within the next 2 days. I still haven't seen more than 10 minutes of the movie.

At the moment, my TRON interest is eclipsing my Star Wars and Indiana Jones fascination. I'd seen a few of those gizmos from the site above, but there were a lot that I hadn't seen. There's also an expensive iPod dock and of course Disney Vinylmation and pins.
The score to Tron: Legacy (and all the scattered bonus tracks), by Daft Punk, is easily my favorite album of the last year and I even listened to it tonight. I've gotten some of the collectibles, but not enough. I'm looking for lots of those clearanced out mini-2-packs, several figures, and the lightcycles. I picked up a Sam Flynn and Rinzler identity disc. Not sure I need more, but clearanced out I'd definitely like another Rinzler, a CLU, and a Kevin Flynn disc. Looking forward to seeing if anyone else responds to the thread. Starting today in California is the D23 Expo. Saturday is TRON day with the Coolwaters booth. TRON himself Bruce Boxleitner, Cindy Morgan (Yori), Jackson Bostwick (Lead Century Guard), and Rob Daly (Lead Century Guard from TRON Legacy). D23 is the Official Disney Fan Club. It just started about two years ago. They have a magazine called "twenty-three" and periodic events. They're called D23 because it's Disney and he started his animation company in 1923. Their big annual Expo was in Anaheim a little over a week ago but I was fortunate to attend an event at the Swan and Dolphin here at WDW back in May.

I was able to look through all of the photos at cooltoyreview. I am glad someone covered this event .
I still wish they wouldn't make items ,like this monorail, exclusive to one event. They could at least allow people to order some on-line at a higher price before the event and then the event attendees would have the exclusive privilege of getting a big discount when they wait in line for it. |
