Oh, good! I tried to post this in the announcement about the "SE", but it was moderators only. So here we go:
I love the starfield! But I would lose the competition [to see who notices the differences]. Ask anyone who knows me, I'm bad at noticing details. Although I will frequently look at something and think, "something's different, I can't put my finger on it"! |

I also cleaned up the logo image. It had a couple of defects that annoyed me so I replaced the image.

This is not really a comment on the Announcements so much as a comment on the board. We got our 5000th post this morning. I'm not sure if it was Padawan Tai Lin or yours truly, but in just 8 months, the ez-OS has garnered 5K replies. Not too shabby.

In order to utilize the chat feature, you need to have Java installed. If you don't currently have it,click here.
Also, we do not have inhouse avatars. You may link to an offsite avatar of your choice as long as it meets the size requirements. Click the "My Control Center" link at the top of the page to enter your account profile. Click "Edit Profile" and enter the image link for "My Photo". Make sure it is not marked "private". That should do it. If you do not have space to upload the image of your choice, you can upload the image and then link to it via free image hosts such as imageshack and photobucket. If you have any further questions, please post them in the "Questions and Suggestions" thread further down the page. |

 I believe quite certainly my comp's memory or something was fried by lightning Tues. and all programs are responding horrifically slow or not at all. But the mouse and speakers work just fine. Anyways I may be posting terribly sporadically since I can't run out and buy a new one and even now I could get in trouble for using this one at work. I will try to keep in touch by phone here and there and hope others will do the same. Various of you do have the number. And I'll see all Saturday!!! |

Do you have any diagnostic programs on your computer, Russ? I'd run some tests to see if all your hardware and system programs are working properly.
If not, there's the old stand by: system restore! If that doesn't work, well, crack open your case and gander at your RAM chips. I think it's unlikely that they went bad though. I think a surge would affect your motherboard more than anything. And if it affected that, well, you'll need to sell your speeder . . . |
