Welcome Tony. One great thing about Star Wars fans is that they have many different reasons for being a fan. I have always been a fan of special effects above
all else. I would be more excited to meet Dennis Muren than to meet one of the actors.

Welcome to all the new members of these boards.......and thanks for joining this motley bunch of Star Wars Fans. As previously mentioned we all love Star Wars
for different reasons and express that in many ways and many levels. We are all friends here so occasionally we try to express just that through other
activities as well. We're all moving into a larger system now.

--Cloud of smoke, dust and debris settle out, after what looks like a hard landing--
*peers out from the upper landing of her gangplank* I was like drifting in space for hours until I picked up the coordinates for this board… *looks to see what this place is called* Ah…The Star Wars Grand Florida Allience! ..OK, cool. Say, you don't mind me landing here while I try to figure out (with luck) why my hyper drive suddenly stopped working and even drained
my sub-light engines? I was lucky to drift close enough to your system to make this emergency landing. Lucky for me, the old rocket boosters were never scrapped off this ship when it was upgraded. Yea, I had enough fuel to angle my ship for an old fashioned re-entry. You guys must have seen that ball of fire in the sky coming down, huh? Yea, that was me.. Hehe. Good thing I didn't land on anyone's head.. *looks over to her landing struts to make sure* So, what do you guys do here?...and anyone up on how hyperdrives, like work? |
