I'm heading to South Florida to see friends and family till late Sunday night. Probable stops will be Port St. Lucie, Palm Beach Gardens, North Miami, and with luck, Key Largo. After 850 miles I've hung out in Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Key Largo, Doral, Palm Beach Gardens, and Lantana. It was a whirlwind three days, but I had a great time and caught up with a couple of friends and some family. I actually got in about midnight on Sunday night, but- if you can believe it- I was too tired to post.

Posts: 6068 Fri, Aug 25, 2006 10:04 PM Consul - Orlando System Baron Admin	Tally, we harly knew ye. Hope to mee to you one of these days. Me, I'm back, and not without some troubles. On the way down we arrived about 20 seconds after an SUV flipped and knocked down a Turnpike streetlight. Not only did the four passengers live, but I actually assisted 2 of them out of the upside down vehicle. Pin thought to run back to our car and give them a roll of tissue to help clean and cover their cuts. As we drove back this evening we saw the same scene with replaced guardrail and lamppost. The car was long gone, but the shrubs still showed a 5-sided cube where it had been. The trip was wonderful, with one major misstep (as will be described in the Scuba thread) and trips to Key Largo, Key West, and Bahia Honda State Park. If anyone is ever planning a trip to Ket West, I'd highly recommend the nicely priced Author's Guest House. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. Anyhoo, I've not been online in a week so I'll be catching up for a while. See you all around. -Campobello
