Variety online seems to be an added feature of Hyperspace. Under the Member's Exclusives button you can now link to most articles that even vaguely pertain to the world of Star Wars / Lucasfilm, etc. Nice.

One of my favorite features on Hyperspace is its collection of Audiocasts. The Magic of Myth tour is possibly my most prized Audiocast dowload, but the recent Vintage Radio commercials and interviews have been fantastic too. For those who've not heard them the Wondercolumn bits by Anthony Daniels (released a few years ago as a Fan Club CD) are truly insightful on the filming of the Trilogy. -Campbell

My membership runs out towards the end of March. I will probably renew. My favorite parts are the old school comics, at the Sith Snapshots. I haven't taken the time time to listen to all of the audio casts, but what I have heard, they are really neat.

I'm debating about extending my membership. I don't get as much use out of it as I thought I would (I prefer forums like this more), but once in a while they have a nice exclusive you can buy at StarWarsShop.

This is not huge, but it was something I'd like to see more of. In conjunction with an article about the Episodes I-III editions of Cinefex magazine, Hyperspace gave 10 random Hyperspace members each a set of the three magazines. source.
Also, I can't seem to find any info on how the contest for President works. They said return on the 15th for details on how people could refer others, but so far, no update. Sigh. |

Just a quick question for those that might know more about the insider magazine and hyperspace than me. When we purchased hyperspace, did we get the mag for the length of out membership or was it only for like 6 mags? I haven't gotten one lately

To my knowledge, despite little snafus during the ownership changes, your Hyperspace subscription should include six bi-monthly issues of the Insider. I received mine, #86, the middle of this week.

I gave up as a subscriber, but who knows when they will offer some kind of "exclusive" to lure collectors back in. I really never used the HyperSpace part of the site at all.

I believe the insider magazine was only for 6 issues while the hyperspace membership lasted longer.

Hyperspace has an interview with George Lucas from a 1989 issue of the LucasFilm Fan Club magazine. It's worth a look. The interviewer's no great shakes, but Lucas's answers are interesting as a snapshot on his career at the moment.

Yeah I feeel that it is worth the 40.00 a year for the membership. I was wondering why I quit getting my Insider mags but I then remembered that you only get 6 with the membership to Hyperspace. Does any know where you can suscribe for a year to the magazine? Sorry Sabacc, if I would have known to refer before I signed up I would have. You trying to become fanclub president?
