I'm late to the whole iPod scene (I listen on my PC) but I've recently started really enjoying TheForce.net podcasts. Remember how good TF.n used to be before their user-unfriendly format that began a few years ago? I actually used to check in almost everyday. Since that became far harder when they went from daily Star Wars stories to just a huge page full of tiny links I go to their site maybe once every few months. Well, the Force-Casts have brought me back. To download these at least. Basically you get about an 80-minute program with weekly features and lots and lots of news. In addition to that there are supplemental shows with full interviews, music, and lengthy topics. TheForce.Net is absolutely and without a doubt not the same since it's ridiculous new design came about. I, too, used to visit it, literally, daily, and now I MIGHT go to it every three months or so. It was one of the best sites for Star Wars out there, and now it is one of the worst. Brandon THIS IS NOT AN EXIT.

Some highlights include: You can buy an exclusive figure for every day that your badge is for. If you have a 4-day badge and you buy them all at once you can buy 5 exclusive figures. Drew Struzan will be at the StarWarsShop booth on Thursday to sign brought objects for free. There will be a small Indiana Jones presence at C4. USPS stamp-cancellations will be available at C4.

Posts: 6068 Fri, 27 Apr, 2007 4:15 PM Consul - Orlando System Baron Admin	Stamp collectors often like first-day cencellations, which is a stamp on an envelope cancelled on the first day of issue. The design of the cancellation will typically be something relevant to that particular stamp or set of stamps. Most likely the cancellation will say something like "May The Force Be With You! 30 Years of Star Wars: 1977 - 2007. Los Angeles, CA. There might even be some mention of C4.

I also try to listen to most of the Indycasts. Anyone that's familiar with the Force-cast- Co-host Pete just bowed out last month.

Posts: 1363 Mon, 5 Jan, 2009 10:48 AM Administrator	Not sure how I missed this thread. For anyone not listening to The Force-Cast, you really need to give it a try. I can't even begin to describe how much fun it is listening to this show with Jason and Jimmy Mac. These guys do a phenomenal job each week. Right now, they are on a break with all the Holidays, but should be back in action very soon. The shows are taped live each Wednesday night and then posted on Friday for download. I always try to listen in on Wednesday night as it's raw and uncut which typically makes for a more entertaining show since all the mistakes and goofs are aired live! Posts: 6068 Fri, 9 Jan, 2009 8:14 PM Consul - Orlando System Baron Admin	Chris or anybody, do you guys listen to the Indy-Cast? I really like it with one exception- the guy that does the polls. I know his name but I'm not trying to call one guy out. I just find his voice really terrible for "radio" and try to skip his segments so I don't start to stab at my ears with a pencil. You know this is not my style, but I'm listening to an Indy-Cast right now and this guy takes the cake as dullest, mostly monotone, speaker on any of these shows.

Posts: 1363 Wed, 1 Apr, 2009 11:01 PM Administrator	What a fantastic show tonight. Jason & Jimmy had a great guest on the regular show, Jad Bean. For those that don't know, Jad had a 12" action figure done of himself for winning a contest. He's also just been featured in a great article about visiting the desert like area where they shot the Sarlacc and Sail Barge scenes for ROTJ. You can find this article in the March edition of Harper's Magazine. He's also got a cool blog going at www.jadontv.com. Tonight was also the final Clone Wars Round-Table show wrapping up Season 1. So, I take it, it's worth playing? The Force-Cast comes out with such frequency and the shows last so long now that there's no way for me to keep up.
