Entertainment Earth has their Luminara and Barriss maquette on sale for $57, down from $95. Might be worth a look to somebody around here. ...like Jessie.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't bought that piece yet, and am still hesitant. So many things on pre order already, trying to refrain from spending.

A Wind to Shake the Stars | #2
|
If you've never heard the SW Trilogy Radio Dramas, I highly recommend them. They are fully dramatized and much longer versions of the OT stories made for NPR. Overstock.com currently has the huge box set with all the episodes for a reasonable (for such a huge set) price. Act now, and there's $1 shipping.

Thanks for the link Campbell! I've been waiting very patiently to buy this piece. I'm glad that I have. That's a great price! The lowest I've seen in the last week is $68. Maybe they'll go down even more by next pay period? One can only hope
I found this webpage that tracks the pricing trends for collectibles. Very cool and informative. I'd like to see how some of my pieces fare in 2 or 3 years. |

I can't spend a lot of time on that Toytracker site at the moment, but a cursory glance makes it look very interesting. Thanks a lot.

If you're not a customer already, if you can get on Entertainment Earth's mailing list they seem to have a $10 off coupon on about 1/3 of their catalogs. It really makes buying more attractive from a place which has fair prices already (for an online retailer).

Didn't we just leave this party? | #6

EE's got the new Falcon and Death Star diorama by Attakus listed.
If we decide as a group to buy this for the OS, I submit that the CR be it's caretaker.

As if anyone even has room for it! It's over 70 inches long. Funny how they give demensions but not the scale. I guess it could be anything from 1:18 to 1:32 .
Even at that price, it would sell faster if the ship was whole. |

I would like it better if it were whole, too. But I still like it. I think I saw Obi and Vader in the passageway.

It is a very odd choice of project. I recall last year SWS had the individual figures, which were roughly the size of 3 3/4" figures but made into metal. Only they were about $105 apiece.

Temped by the fruit of another franchise. | #10
|
I know we've got some Nightmare BC fans out there so you might want to look at EE's site for some new releases that even impressed me:
NBC Tiffany Lamp, $60 NBC Wooden Cube Calendar, $14 And some oddballs I won't buy, but are very interesting: Living Dead Dolls Edgar Allen Poe and Annabel Lee Set, $50 Women of the DC Universe Supergirl Bust, $50 (imagine Marilyn Monroe as a superhero) For Darthovsky, who used to go by the handle of Lore elsewhere, there's a nifty brother-to-Data Lore new action figure available for $15 There also some really cool Belgian nun statues, but I'm married now, so I don't have any business mentioning those. |

I had a thread about it, but even I wasn't certain where it belonged. Thankfully, I was smart enough not to put it in the New Acquisitions thread.
We got married on the 1st. It was a very small ceremony at the Courthouse- to be followed by something nicer down the road. Thanks for the Congrats, I chose wisely. |

Code 3 | #13 | ||

If you were ever considering getting Code 3's Star Wars Style D (circus poster) Sculpture, EE's got it for $44.90 now, down from $89.99. Of all the large size poster sculptures, this is my favorite.

I agree. I have the metal version of that one that was released on QVC a decade ago. Classic art.
I really need to go ahead and break down and get the Poster Book. |
