I've never dealt with them, but their prices do seem a tad high. Anyone know if they are better than Brian's Toys? I don't use either, I only brought up the comparison because Brian's has a huge selection of older figures (at pricey prices).

Also bigbadtoystore.com is good. lots of new items that you can pre-order. His prices arent to bad, like Brians toys.

This is probably useless, but TRU has an online sale through the 8th. It's only available online, but at this moment everything's locked up. Maybe it'll open up in the next hours or days. There are a dozen or more figures hovering around $2, a couple of silver convention exclusives from years back, and the
Saesee Tinn Starfighter for less than $6 before shipping. |

It started early on the 4th and I when I tried it by the afternoon nothing was available. I assumed that meant it sold out that fast.

This is one of the most annoying sales out there. Now one of the few Star Wars items is a Deluxe Vader helmet (it's the Rubie's one that's usually $109). Right now it's supposedly $27.50, but there is no link to order it!! Argh!

That might even be likely, but it's annoying. After Episode I TRU.com went out of business because they didn't know online business. They started to be run as an affiliate of Amazon. In the last year or so, they've gone off on their own again and the problems seem to be back.
I'd really like to get that helmet! |

I received the email about the TRU sale the other day. However, Slickdeals already had a post about the sale about a day before the email went out. As a result, most of the items were already gone by the time that I logged in for the first time. The Rubies helmet was available when I originally checked but I passed since it is a space killer.
If you don't already check out the deal sites, it's worth a check whenever you log on the web. It is an extreme rarity that any SW stuff would be for sale, but there are a ton of other deals out there that most folks would never know about unless they checked the web. I think the best of these sites is www.slickdeals.net |

I was able to jump on the Obi-Wan/Yoda McQuarrie today. My browser seemed to spin forever while waiting for the transaction to go through.
During my usual check in at www.slickdeals.net tonight, I saw some SW deals that are being sold through www.blueroom.com. I picked up the Yoda backpack for $18.98 (62% savings from list of $49.95). Looks like you had a good day. Thanks for posting about the Slickdeal. And $6 plus the cost of the backpack still beats the cost of those Yodas on the last day of C4.
I slept through a bunch of people trying to give me the heads up about the McYodas, but I suspect I'll be able to land one soon. |

I've been searching many times in the last 36 hours and have never seen the McYodas reappear, but I've seen the McLukes come back twice during this time. If there are that many Lukes left the Jedi pair will certainly be around off and on for a while. There's no reason to panic.
Whenever I get this I'm going to go ahead and add in an R2-KT, and probably a 10-pack of Cases to store my Concept figures. |

This afternoon these were back up. I ordered a couple and an R2-KT and that pack of cases that I wanted. It wasn't cheap, but the CATWEB10 code did save me $5.
