I bought it just before I signed in here. I like it, but it's not as good as many Disney-made SW parody shirts.
Since it'll be gone in 5 hours- here's the image:

I'd certainly love to buy those things, but even if I could just blink myself to that era for a few hours I'd love to just see what it was like through an adult's eyes.

It's been a long time since I bought cards, but this set looks really, really nice. Are you pretty much guaranteed to get a full basic set with a box? Is there a guarantee that each box holds a sketch or anything? I'm interested, but I need more details.

sabacc wrote:I pulled this from that link. Each Star Wars Galaxy 5 hobby box includes a 1 of 1 original sketch card! In addition to the 120-card base set, collectors can look for Foil cards (15 characters on foil technology and illustrated by Randy Martinez, available in Bronze, Numbered Gold, and Hobby Exclusive 1/1 Refractor versions), Etched Foil cards, Puzzle pieces featuring artwork by Joe Corroney, Lost Galaxy cards (hobby exclusive never-before-seen archival Galaxy art), autograph cards (vintage Galaxy Joe Smith portraits signed by Star Wars actors), sketch cards (1 of 1 hand drawn sketches by top artists including Manga and Shaped sketch cards), printing plates (1 of 1 metal plates used to print each base card in Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black). Every box includes a poster. |

I especially like that each Star Wars Galaxy 5 hobby box includes an original sketch card and the chance of autograph cards. I've never heard of them including metal printing plates, but that'd be pretty cool to get as well.
How soon do we have to buy this? I'm probably in. Is this ($69) the cheapest source for a box? -Campbell

I am thinking so.. I have been talking to SW artist Kevin Graham and he went to his local Comic Book store and they were selling them for 69.00 I have called a few stores. One told me that they don't have any and I haven't heard from Bad Apple yet. I may stop there today if I go to Winter Garden to look for BDW Let's Misbehave album.

Good luck finding the Billy Dee! I'm interested in the Galaxy 5 Hobby Box if it's not too late. However, with just the two of us, we wouldn't be able to get the free shipping anyhow.

Yeah.. I figured that. Oh well it was worth a try.. If you know of a comic book shop that is selling the Hobby box. Let me know. I would like avoid shipping.

Thanks for that clip! I am very surprised to admit that the AT-AT gave me cold chills. I'm sold, and I was on the fence till this video. The scale is so much better than the original and I like the clunky giant feet.
