I picked up one of those Bantha sets... they cost a lot more than I thought they would but it looks cool so I got one. It's not a dark one... and I bet these go on sale before they sell out... but oh well.
I'm dying to find a V Wing or Sith Infiltrator ! I haven't seen those any where. Maybe I need to go look today. |

I finally got the new Darth Vader version from the Saga collection. From what I hear a new expanded universe set is coming out. Is that true?

It looks like wave 5 is expanded universe ( which I would be suprised to see before August). I don't see NJO , only KOTOR.

Thanks for that list. I'm going to get a Starkiller at C4, but that's the best of that bunch. I also will try to get the pre-Grievous when that wave gets released.

I'm kinda at the point where I'm more than a little annoyed and irritated with hasbro and all the stores. Am I supposed to travel across half of central florida to find these. I have to yet to see a quarter of the figures that have come out beginning with wave 1. Sad.

I'm having trouble finding figures, too, Russ. I'm generally only wanting a few figures from each wave, but I've yet to see the McQuarrie Stormtrooper or any of wave 2.

Well I have a Mc Stormtrooper for you along with the bantha. But if you do find one, it doesn't hurt to buy it.

That's great about the McStormie, and I'll certainly buy one if I find one. I only want one in the end but I know many of us are having trouble finding this one. Many thanks. If you know of another home for the Bantha, it can go to it. I'll still try to arrange the trade if not, but there's been a delay with Mike so you don't have to hold it.

I just ordered the 30th Anniv. poster Redepmtion from CIV from SWshop. It is a nice depiction of Vader lifting the Emperor over his head in ROTJ.

If youy havent been, go to the WaLmart on sandlake rd and John young. They have the biggest solection of toys for a walmart. I knew it then but now that I go all over the US, I really see it. Most are lucky to 2 pegs full for SW figs. Also there is a store called Farpoint at the corner of 436 and 17-92 by a marland chicken place. They opened last year and have alot of new and old peices. It is just good some times to walk into a store just to have it in hand. ebay is good butr sometimes you get screwed on preorder stuff.

Target is good if you get there when they put the stuff out. It is like they dont order alot. That walmart has to be run by some supernerd that knows what to get and alot of it.

I'll check the John Young Wal-mart later this morning if I get a chance. Sometimes I get lucky, but lately I've seen a lot of nothing. Though C4 interrupted my hunt for a week.
The Wal-mart on Kirkman is one of the worst toy sections in town. Dare I say it's as bad as a K-Mart? |

Look for the new Concept McQuarrie figures. Wave 3 started showing up at Target. I hope to see it at Walmart soon. I will post a photo to wave 3 so everyone knows what to look for. So far it doesn't seem like Hasbro has included the Concept Fett from wave 2 in the current shippment of wave 3. Maybe there will be a revision case later in the year. But if the stores don't clearance the Saga figures from last year, it won't matter what new stuff comes out. There is no room. And to make it worse the SW section just got smaller because of new Transformers and Fantastic 4 toys.

Just getting around to sifting through some of the event swag. Opened the GG Commander Gree mini bust, it is much better in person than pics. The Malak bust is going to a friend, I am not collecting EU stuff. Malek is a wonderful collectible, but I really must resist EU stuff for the sake of room and funds.
Even though I did not attend SW Weekends last week, my good friend picked up the most limited collectibles for me. The X wing Mickey big fig is truly amazing! The light up base is worth the extra change, will be looking to add the rest of the crew. It is possible these really will be limited, the came with a COA this time, and are numbered on the botttom of the statue. Sharon

The Wal-Mart over on East Colonial has a large section just for Star Wars. I have also seen some good comics at Barns and Noble over in WaterFord. In addition to that I continueously see new comics at Collesium over at Fashion Square Mall. Yet I still have not bothered to check Sci-Fi City. I don't know why but I keep thinking that they don't have anything new about Star Wars. Collesium has much better models.
