No worries. I just bought something from BOTH of them.  Nabbed the GG ESB Yoda statue at a very fair price.

Bob S stopped by to get his windows done, and was kind enough to bring the Slave Girl Minnie Big Fig over at the same time. What a fantastic deal!
(Disney had this figure pulled from retail sales for the "slave' reference not being PC. The word was even cut off the box.) Just need to pick up the Mickey with Yoda Big Fig now, and that will complete my set. Nice all around. I'm hoping my buddy will stop by Property Control to pick me up a Slave Minnie BF as well. Also, I'm looking forward to seeing that
Kneeling Vader. I've only seen it at Chris's, and even then I wish I had spent more time examining it.

I got my Minnie XXXXX Leia Big Fig today from Property Control at Disney. They have cut off part of the cardboard box to remove the word "slave" so
it appears there is some substance to the rumors that Disney pulled these.

I got the small scale Disney Donald as Stormtrooper at the airport Disney store. I might look for x-wing Mickey next. I saw the Chip and Dale set but passed
because of over sized helmet .

Spoke too soon. Went to the mailbox and there were 4 small packages. The two that might interest this board contained a pair of the PSWCS medallions* and a
Dale as Indiana Jones pin.
* I'll be offering up one of those medallions for sale (at my cost) at Sharon's party on the 8th. |

Got a couple more cool expected items today- the UK/SWS Chrome Stormtrooper mini-bust (nice and $40 shipped) and a RotS Clone Trooper mini-bust ($35, with a
very tiny chip on one of the hands). Happiness is running out of space for my Gentle Giant collection.

Bust-ups small items are already being packed. No kidding. Sigh.
Got a great new piece, though- the Master Replicas LE of Qui-Gon Jinn's lightsaber. This is a beauty, I'm happier with it than I expected. It's missing the acrylic case that was originally with it, but I got it delivered for about a third of its original cost. |

About the only thing I have been able to get is Echo. I haven't been able to find ANY of the Clone Wars figures and by the looks of it I have missed a few
waves already

On one trip to Target recently, I saw all the new Clone Wars figures. I was tempted by the Commando Droid and a protocol one from Clone Wars, but I passed at
the $8 price tag. I hope to pick some of these up down the line once they are worth nothing like most of my figures.

I REALLY want that commando droid. There are a few good ones coming out. The price tag is a bit more then I would like, especially now, but since they are the
only SW things I'll be getting it's not too bad.

I've had a lot of things in the mailbox recently including a good number of Disney Indiana Jones pins, a pair of 1977 Media Scene magazines about Star
Wars, my Lt. Renz mini-bust, a scaled Shadow Stormtrooper helmet, and an Indiana Jones on Horse statue. I also got a nice $3 Tusken Raider bobble head at
Marsall's the other day.
Sadly, the Indiana Jones statue has a break on the figure. It's very simple, but I'm going to send pictures to Razor's Edge in hopes of a replacement. |
