The Big Figs are in, and available for pick up from Oct 1st-13th.

I have two now, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to stand pat. In addition to recently picking up the Darth Maul Donald, I have the original Jedi Mickey
one. So I've got the Jedi and Sith bookended. If I ever saw some great deal, I'd probably get the Mickey X-Wing pilot. I'm very happy with the Duck
Maul one- there's a lot of detail, front to back.

Make sure you check your lights & inspect Figs. A LOT of collectors are ending up with damaged & defective Mickey's & Donald's. Disney does
not have a lot to exchange, so don't wait to open your boxes. The bases on this round are a little wavy & unstable, making it a little easy for the
Fig to tip over, and the lightsabers are not always lining up.
I went back for Minnie & Goofy, so I have all 9.  Could not resist,
was fortunate to get the cast member discount.

Ha, yeah, I like the way they pair up. Good thoughts about checking the lights- that was my thought too, and it was the reason I unpacked it soon after I got
the Maul. Fortunately it all works, but it was hard to insert the red blades- I scratched up the handles installing them. Couldn't be helped.

EndorExpress.net has released pictures from Disney's upcoming 2009 Mini Figures.
These are the ones you get in the blind-packages of three. I completed the first set, but they really don't give much bang for your buck. However, I will
definitely seek out the Star Tours Crewmember and Teek (from the Battle for Endor Ewok movie and the ST pre-boarding video). For the uninitiated, these are up
to 1.5 inches tall and have no articulation.

Mick just asked me if this year's Big Figs for SWW would be the same scale as the others. They will be won't they? Based on the previous years'
offerings, the price point, and all other Big Figs I'm fairly certain that they will be roughly the same as always, even if this is the final four. Has
anyone else heard different?

actually really like these. Some are better than others, but as a rule, I like how strange, and oddly creative, they are.

If you're talking about the latest series, they aren't out yet. Or rather, they had not been released as of this past Saturday. Wicket's Warehouse,
the Star Wars Weekends exclusives store, said the collector packs and the 3rd series of Disney/SW crossover figures would be out in July.

Yes, but smaller. Most are figurines about an 1-1.5" tall, some are very small ships. Each blind bag is $4.95 each and contains three miniatures.
