How is everybody doing on amassing the watches, toys, and gift cards of the current Burger King promotion? Anybody need any of the pieces from the first half of the year?
changed the subject to Fast Food since BK's not in the current marketing strategy.-c

I was so happy, I got all 6 watches. I didn't get a chance to get the toys yet. I have some but probably will buy the set on ebay or something like that.

You've made a fine decision, Walt. Take your time on Ebay, there are tons of good deals for those toy sets. You'll eventually find them for less than they sold for before the food they might have asked you to tack on.

Does anyone remember that the first week of BK toys back in April had a little mail-in certificate for 2 free Galactic Heroes? I just received a couple of pairs of these. Each consists of R2 and Yoda. I'm not complaining- they only cost the price of a stamp.

BK's out and McDonalds is in. Coming in a few weeks to Happy Meals nationwide. Looks like Pin (my wife) will be getting some hamburgers or McNuggets soon...

Yep me and the girls will be there tomorrow more then likely. I will still get the set on eBay tho, have to plans on going to McDonald's that much to complete the set.

I wish the toys did a little more. I got the Yoda key chain. He doesn't stay together to well and the tattoo SUCKS. It wore off in like a day.
Also not sure about your cities but the non-franchise owned McDonald's in St. Petersburg have $2 Happy Meals on Tuesday and Thursday. |

I opted to avoid buying the Happy Meals altogether on my only visit so far. I got the Anakin (boring) and the Jedi Starfighter (better) for $1 each.

Wow! I am usually on top of all this stuff!
I did not realize there were any new toys @ McD's until last week. Was working with Orlando Fire Dept, had to respond to an unresponsive patient (drunk) passed out in the bathroom in one of the local McDonald's. While taking drunky's vitals in the lobby, I saw the floor display. I am on collecting restriction, am not allowed to buy any right now. Cheap, later, I hope! http://www.OrlandoMobileTinting.com

I picked up a couple of Vaders from McDonald's today. I gave one away and opened the other. I like it. The head sculpt is surprisingly accurate and the pudgy body is a strange complement.

Just to let everyone know Mc Donald's will have Clone Wars toys in there Happy meals beginning sometime in September, they will have 8 different skate boards like the one we got in are gift bag at CV.
