Since some of us want to have spiffy new costumes ready for C4, Susan suggested we have a monthly workday when we can get together for inspiration and sewing help. This would be a day apart from meetings where our intention is to get a lot of work done.
I would be happy to host, since (a) I already have a lot of sewing equipment set up at my house, such as a serger, that we can share; and (b) it would be really dang convenient for me.
Who else is interested? What days/times work for you? We don't have to do the same day every month, so perhaps we can rotate it like the meetings so everyone who is interested can attend at least every other month. PLEASE only submit date/time suggestions if you plan to attend consistently, so that we don't choose dates around the schedules of people who wind up not coming. That said, once the schedule is set, anyone can show up any time, even if you only come once.
