I'm not too enamored by mine: Eva-ca Stlex. Ones I've "used" in the past, and that I prefer, are Sabacc Anhinga and Joah Bace.

Jess yours sounds kinda cool
Mike Camia's okay but Arn-mi......you could be from Kamino Okay Mine and Campbell's really stunk (mine was Saw-ev Ebor) though it did give me some ideas, I'm still sticking with Eofer Draijonsai. Which by the way, Eofer is shortened from my medieval name which really is a medieval name, Eoferhilde, which from what I've found has no modern equivelant is probably a derivative of some other spelling and yes I'm aware that some LotR geeks will associate the name to Theoden's nephew Eomer who was a descendant of Eofer (I learned that to). Draijonsai is some SW galaxy transalation I made up for my other last name Dragonsaw (cause I couldn't figure out a translation for dragonnicks) |

Wal-la lifra here. Not sure how I feel about that one. Will have to mull it over. Meanwhile I'm watching Poltergeist on Sci-Fi. The sceen where the clown doll pulls the little boy under the bed always creeps me out, probably more than any other in the movie. Spielberg is a master!

Wal-la Lifra, It's got a nice certain ring to it.
Ooooo......I have a clown doll my aunt gave me years ago that looks much like the poltergeist clown. He creeps everyone so I like him. Have you ever read the book poltergeist. It's intensely more involved than the movie could touch, but Spielberg did do an admirable job trying to translate all of it into a two hour movie. |

Spielberg wrote and produced it but it was directed by Tobe Hooper (the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre).

It says My Jedi name is Car-Jo-Berio. It sounds weird. I like the one I have better.

Oddly, my mother and I used to use the family's various names backwards so those pronunciations still are fresh in my mind. I can't say I have any love for the name Llebpmac, though.

Ekim Llorrac is kinda cool! Using Jose's process my Jedi name is Arual Siol. That's harder to say than my other Jedi name! Fun options though.

Hey, Wal-mart Laura--er, I mean Wal-la Lifra--great link!
Okay, I tried the name generator. My first pass came out as Rus-Au Lonew (looks like I'm related to Russ!). That's using NYC as my birthplace. If I use Staten Island (aka Richmond), it changes the last name to Losta (or Loric). Using my maiden name instead of my married last name changes my Jedi first name to Iri-Au. Too many vowels! The character name I chose for my Jedi costume is Kero-Wyn. "Kerowyn" (which I pronounce KEEro-win, KEEro for short) is a character from a Mercedes Lackey book. I haven't picked a surname yet. I've played with a lot of translations from my mother's native tongue (tagalog), hoping for a name with some special meaning, but haven't settled on anything that flows with Kero-Wyn. Any foreign language whizzes out there? |

Audrey, just picking and choosing from that post, and changing the first name, I think Auden Loric would make a great name in the SW galaxy.

I agree; I like that name too Audrey. But please don't call me Walmart Laura. I much prefer Tar-jay!

Hm, I may have to consider that... if not for my Jedi (I'm pretty attached to Kero-Wyn), then for another costume: Imperial Officer, or X-Wing pilot?

Quote: I just noticed a primal Star Wars feeling in myself. As I read the choice I thought to myself that it'd have to be a Rebel. I really think I had a slight flash that no Imp deserved such a good name. Yeah, I know lots of Imperials have had good names, but somehow I think I was feeling an in-universe disdain for the evil Empire. |
