Anyhow, there's a Delta 2 rocket slated to launch between 2:09 and 2:23am tomorrow (Saturday) morning if anyone's up.

Anybody catch the night launch on Monday night? It was beautiful, but short. Went into the clouds about 30 seconds after launch but the glowing column looked a
heckuva lot like the top of the Ark of the Covenant ascending. The bad news, we drove out to Titusville and my transmission burned up. Aren't you glad I
didn't call you to pick us up at 3:30 in the morning?

Everyone is talking about the great planet view tonight. The moon is near the same line of sight as Venus. Very cool.

I pointed it out to my wife a couple of times this evening while we were out. She said it looked like the sky was winking at us. While I didn't exactly see
that, it was impressive due to the crescent moon and the bright planet. Thanks for pointing it out!

Endeavour is slated to launch at 5:40am tomorrow morning. It's worth setting your alarm clocks because it'll be in the dark. My fingers are crossed that it launches safely and that there are minimal clouds between Orlando and the Cape. |

A couple of days ago, the space station was supposed to pass over us at 8:30 pm . My Dad watches it everytime it does that and I have not seen it once. I get so into my work that I forget to go outside and look up. I heard you can actually see more than just a flashing light in the sky. I'm going to get a cheap telescope some day. Has anyone watched the space station pass by?

I never have, but I've wanted to. I was at work the night you're referring to, but I had heard it would be visible.
