Posts: 6068 Tue, May 29, 2007 11:56 PM Consul - Orlando System Baron Admin	Tags : None During Celebration IV there was talk of when the next Celebration should take place. Previous Celebrations have taken place in 1999, 2002, and 2005 (alongside each Prequel) and this year was Celebration IV celebrating 30 years of Star Wars (Episode IV). When do you think they should have the next one?

Posts: 6068 Wed, May 30, 2007 6:10 PM Consul - Orlando System Baron Admin	It's too tight a turn for me. Even the two years between CIII and CIV was too much. I hope CV celebrates e5. The way I see it is that I can only afford so many week vacations and I don't want more than half of them to be just Star Wars destinations. Three years is a great amount of time for me to save up money and vacation time.

Posts: 378 Wed, Jun 6, 2007 3:42 PM Okeechobee	2010 is a nice round date and they can also play up the anniv of ESB. It will be interesting to see how Lucas and crew go from here with the Celebration conventions. With the TV show(s) on the hoirzon, there is plenty of reasons to have them. Posts: 6068 Sun, Jun 10, 2007 7:25 PM Consul - Orlando System Baron Admin	Atlanta would be a nice location. I just think Orlando should get a shot because it's a natural family vacation spot for those who would extend their visit, and no town is better suited with hotel rooms and convention space.

Posts: 6068 Sat, Dec 20, 2008 3:47 AM Consul - Orlando System Baron Admin	I'm hoping for 2010 solely for the 30th Anniversary of Empire. I would love to see a frenzy of Empire celebration. Barring that 2011 would be better for me because of that planning thing. Maybe they could work it with the live action show, and heck, celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Thrawn trilogy. That, more than anything since the Return of the Jedi, got the public back into Star Wars.
