In honor of my new membership in the 501st, I'm changing my userpic on the FL501st forum (currently it's my Hoth Leia pic). Which one do you like best?
Option 1 (headshot):  Option 2 (banner):  Thanks for your help!

Both are good, but the banner one shows off more of the costume. ...though maybe that's not the goal...

Figures Campbell would vote against me.
 I voted for the head shot thinking that if that's the pic people are going to see when you post on the 501st forum then it's ideal because it puts more of a face to your comments (literally!). The other pic is good to show the costume, but it doesn't really show you. |

I agree with both comments but voted for the banner pic because it shows you holding the banner for the group and representin'!

For the moment, I've uploaded the headshot, mainly for Mike's reasoning. But I'm still taking votes! On the banner pic, I really like the big Florida Garrison banner (representin', as Laura says), but I couldn't make up my mind on how to crop the rest of the photo so it's not such a tiny picture. If I just keep, say chest-up on me and the banner, the whole image can be "larger", but then it just looks like my head next to a banner. Thoughts? And thanks for the votes!

If you go for the "banner shot," I'd leave it as is. Yes, it's not as close up on the costume, but you can still tell it's a great looking, well made costume and you can read the banner. If you get closer to a head shot, you see less costume.
