Absolutely, I'd love to see you again. The holidays tend to make it hard for us all to get together so I'm making a special effort to get people over here for a last '08 OS meet.

Everything's on track, Sharon and girlsolo. And Russ (Eofer) says he's going to make it as well. Sounds like we'll have a great time with a good crowd.

Here's a wrap-up of the party:
What a great time that was last night. We really need to do that again sooner than later. On the flip side, we've had fantastic turnout for the last two meetings so I'm theorizing that with them a little less frequent people are more apt to take time out of their schedules to get together.

Basically none of my scheduled ideas came to fruition and that seems to have been for the best. The Holiday Special got completely swept away in the undertow, but as Chris said elsewhere, what a Life Day! Chris, your e2 Clone Helmet was awesome. Despite my overcrowded pad, I hope to make room for that eventually. Also, your lobby cards and prints and 'graphs were very impressive. I could easily have spent another hour on those. Roman, I also really hope I get another chance to really peruse your collection book- that we fantastic.

Thanks should go out especially to Chris, Roman, and Justin for driving long distance to be a part of this. Thanks Chris, Roman, Aaron, Sharon, Justin for bringing show and tell/trade items. I'm sorry we didn't focus on trading as much as I was advertising, but we'll table that for another day. Thanks Mike and Cat, Russ, Roman, Chris, and Sharon for bringing food and supplies. And a very special thanks to my wondrous wife, Pin, for putting up with us and scurrying around picking up after all of us. Russ, we've still got a lot of cake left and there's virtually no more grass or dirt in Chewie's frosting/fur.

After the majority of people left Justin, Victor, Russ, and I took some really idiotic pictures which you'll see represented on the Event page. In hindsight I really wish I'd pulled out one of my Inday hats or some Leia buns- really would have classed up the photography.

Undoubtedly I'm forgetting someone's contribution, but know that I really appreciate every one of you coming out on a cold Monday night to "Celebrate the Love." It's always great to spend time with people from diverse backgrounds brought together with a fascination for the Galaxy Far, Far Away. Thanks everybody.

At the moment there are no real organized meetings planned for December at the OS. However, Chris is currently putting together a December Meeting for the Tampa group and has extended an invitation to us. As they firm up a date, we'll organize a convoy, or carload, and prove to them that Orlando actually will reciprocate now and again.
