What makes one better than the other to you? In what order do they fall as your favorites?
I'm not going to include the Clone Wars movie, the Holiday Special, or the Ewoks movies in these results.

What can I say, I'm totally old school on this one. I love them all and you'll find that I bash them less than the average superfan, but when push
comes to shove and I have to point to the movie that is my favorite and means the most to me- It's Empire. I love the spirituality of Yoda, the treachery
of the Imperials, Vader coming into his own more than in Star Wars, and the great humor. And we first heard Vader's theme in Empire so that gives it
another leg up.
My favorites come out like this: 1) The Empire Strikes Back 2) A New Hope 3) Revenge of the Sith 4) The Phantom Menace 5) Attack of the Clones 6) Return of the Jedi And even down at the bottom, RotJ, I still love it. It has so many iconic images and I love so much about it, but somebody's gotta pull up the back. |

I think we've had this type of thread a couple of times in the past. Here are my favorites, in order:
5) AOTC 6) TPM Not sure why the response box is making some of my entries go double return lol. I watched TPM again recently and have decided that I probably never need to
watch 90% of the movie ever again. If the movie only contained the last 20 minutes or so, it would be watchable. |

We absolutely have had this topic before but I made a new one because membership has changed and polls now have more choices (before we could only have five
choices).

Revenge of the Sith is my fav. Seeing everything coming together like it did was great. I have always been a big fan of the Jedi and seeing the Jedi Order in
the prequels really made the series for me. Now don't get me wrong I still love the original, which IMO is better in terms of over all story and acting,
but I love the saber duels in the first three episodes.

I love all the movies. I consider the entire Saga to be one complete movie with six seperate parts as it really is. With that said, Episode V has always been
my favorite even through 2005. Looks like the poll reflects this.

Agreed. I also like Tony's perspective, and I think he's got a really unique view of all this as he has virtually discovered the Saga as a mature
adult.

I did not vote this time as I agree with Chris that this is all really one story just broken into parts for sanity's sake. Much like LotR is one long
story written as how many, what nine books, but came together in three separate books. I have favorite parts in all them. I see it this way, anyone of them
comes on TV I will stop and watch, even if I did just see the dvd.

1) The Empire Strikes Back (first of the saga that I saw in the theater. Love the scenery and characters )
2) Return of the Jedi ( very creative movie and fun to watch over and over. Who cares about what flaws this movie may have?) 3) Attack of the Clones ( great action and effects. ) 4) A New Hope ( It seems wrong to say anything bad about the movie that started it all. ) 5) Revenge of the Sith ( great in so many ways but some of the drama keeps me from wanting to watch often) 6) The Phantom Menace (love some parts more than others , someday I would like to own a fan edit of this movie) |

You know, I never get tired of hearing reasons why people like Star Wars. And Justin, I'm so glad to see somebody give kudos to Episode II. I don't
hear nearly enough appreciation for AotC these days, but I think people may reexamine it a bit with the Clone Wars having such prominence.

My daughter love AotC. Anytime I ask them what if they want to watch SW and that one is the one they always pick. I do enjoy it myself, especial the battle
arena at the end. Just like to see which Jedi I can pick out and name
