We will be joining SWGFA member Rich at his home in Port Saint Lucie on May 17^th at 1:00pm. Stay tuned for more details on this as the date approaches. I will be stopping in Orlando to pick up any member that wishes to join us. I'd really like to see a nice showing of members for this as Rich tries to get a local club going in his area. What better way to do this than to show up and support his efforts. This announcement gives everyone more than a month to plan ahead for the event, so let's make it happen! Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Exit # 62, D & E 24C - Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Via World Drive (Maingate), Celebration, Florida; Orlando International Airport, Sanford International Airport, Cocoa Beach Via Hwy 417 (Toll), Best Used Eastbound from Tampa, Davenport, Florida. We'll have to figure out if there's a good place for you guys to leave your vehicle(s) where I can pick you up around there. The reason I went with this exit is because this is the same exit we use to get on 91 to head to Port Saint Lucie where it's a straight shot. Posts: 5 Sat, Apr 11, 2009 6:03 PM	How about getting off at the Sea World exit of I-4. We can all park at the Harcourt parking garage across from Sea World and we can get back on I-4 via I-Drive to 528. No tolls. Let me know what you think?

The reason I mentioned exit #62 is because that is the exact exit I need to take to get to Port Saint Lucie. I'm trying to save all the time I can. What exit is Sea World? Here's a list of the exits around there. 62 World Dr. South 62 World Dr. North 62 SR 417 (Southern Connector) 64A US 192 East 64B US 192 West 65 Osceola Pkwy. 65 Osceola Pkwy. East 65 Osceola Pkwy. West 67 SR 536 East 67 SR 536 West 68 SR 535 71 Central Florida Pkwy. At exit 68 is a shopping center called Crossroads. That's definitely a place we could all park, but it takes you a little bit further than you want. I'm all for going as far west as you need since you're the one doing the bulk of the driving, Chris. I don't know the exits well enough west of 68 to advise, but 192 is a huge exit so there's probably something right around there. I took a look on GoogleMaps, but didn't see enough detail to find places to park.

I am getting ready for are May 17th meeting .I had a suprise for you guys but I can't make it happen at this meeting. The 501st was going to have some stromtroopers be at the meeting but because of busy May they can't make it but they are up for the next meeting they want to meet the members of the SWGFA. The Everglades Squad leader in my area told me to call him for the next big meeting. We will try next time.

The 501st has a large presence in Florida and it'd be great to have our groups help eachother. I've reached out to a couple of local 501st members but they don't have much interest and actually seem mostly interested in hard-partying. I'd really like to create a relationship with our groups and think them joining us for a meeting would be a great start. So regardless of them coming to a future meeting, I'm really looking forward to meeting you, Rich, and hanging out with some more fans of the Saga.

West 67 SR 536 East 67 SR 536 West 68 SR 535 Idea: Tampa crew, if you remember it on Saturday morning as you're driving to FX, take a gander at these exits to see if any look like feasible places for us to meet up and park our cars when we all meet up to trek down to PSL. I'm not implying that you stop, but if you see a shopping center or something from the road make a note of it.

How does pizza delivery sound for meal time? On Sunday , they ate plump pizzas from a local non-chain restaurant. Time will go by fast as we all discuss a few important topics and some of us do some show and tell.
